Do you think that City will be proud of their days work ?

Must be very hollow for both players and fans. No sense of achievement, no pride and no surprise.

Wouldn't really entice me.

It’s a penalty for me. If he’d gone down instead of getting his shot away it would’ve been given. It’s still a foul and should’ve been given. These decisions don’t help in encouraging players to stay on their feet.
Yep, modern game.

I don't think any of them are penalties. Getting touched anywhere else doesn't constitute a fk nor should it in the box. Times change.

Really no need. Ball should have been given out left ages beforehand.

Respectability to humiliation in 45 minutes.

That's going to take some bouncing back from i suspect, coupled with the setback of Tuesday's embarrassment. And our assumed rivals not doing us any favours either.

I felt bullish at 4.05pm...

Harsh scoreline but we brought on 2 late defensive subs then shipped 2 more goals.

That should be a lesson for us. It needed more attackers at the end to gamble at 1-3.

GOAL - Man City 5-1 Burnley

Erling Haaland (90+4 mins)

Make that two goals for Erling Haaland.

It's calamitous stuff at the back from Burnley as Maxime Esteve, who has scored two own goals, and Hjalmar Ekdal collide to leave Haaland clean through on goal.
