Today's games 28th
Villa 0 Fulham 1 after 2 mins
Re: Today's games 28th
We need this. A home defeat will add pressure on Villa.
Re: Today's games 28th
Villa are really struggling. Definetely a game we can go and get something next week.

Re: Today's games 28th
How did King get booked for that? Why was the Cash handball a “natural position”! Hannibal was more natural

What’s the difference between Cash handball and Hannibal against Liverpool?

I don’t get how that wasn’t a penalty. It’s so inconsistent.

Aston Villa v Filham
Fulham have just been denied a penalty. The ball struck Cash’s out stretched arm not given.
Not much different to Hannibal’s v Liverpool

Re: Aston Villa v Filham
Hannibal faces the cross and has no need to put out his arm.
Cash isn’t facing the ball and his arm is behind him in a natural position.

Re: Aston Villa v Filham
I don't like what the ref just did.
Fulham planning a short corner where the taker was passing it a yard to Wilson who would control the ball for the corner taker to run on to it for a better angle.
Ref ran over and explained if they did that it would be offside, why is the ref helping out a team? If they do that and they're offside it's their own fault, shouldn't be pre-warned.

Obviously that “top club” v. “little club” bias which the PGMOL have been instructed by Sky to follow.
Re: Aston Villa v Filham
Correct it’s worse. Shot is going in until Cash saves it.
Nothing like Hannibal’s

Re: Aston Villa v Filham
Not sure how the first one isn't given, I've just seen the replay from behind and King's body position in terms of height is almost identical on his right foot before he goes left and the keeper wipes him out

Fulham players look like they've been out clubbing no tackle no effort 1m 43 s between goal WTF
Re: Today's games 28th
Typical Villa look like turning a bit of a corner just before we go there.

Jimenez going off for Fulham was massive, they are playing with ten men - if Traore wasn't fast he'd be league two

Re: Today's games 28th
Yes your right. The difference is Liverpool. Neither should pens, but the Cash one was on target, so far more deserving.Ilkley claret wrote: ↑Sun Sep 28, 2025 2:26 pmWhat’s the difference between Cash handball and Hannibal against Liverpool?
The non pen for King was a joke and just shows that VAR is pathetic. Very clearly a penalty, but never mind mates supporting mates eh.

Re: Today's games 28th
The difference was his arm was behind him, never a pen, hannibal had is arm above his head, deffo pen. You could tell by hannibals reaction he knew it was, and as for the king penalty, if he didn't start going down 5 mins before he put his leg into the keeper he might have got it.

Ref gives pen against Pope
Debate on if red for Pope
VAR asked ref to review as think Pope made contact with ball and decision is no foul no pen

700 replays when it needed one to show it's clearly not a penalty

Re: Today's games 28th
All I could think of was the penalty given against Pope by Rob Jones at Leeds when he’d played the ball. Penalty confirmed that day.

Doherty yesterday in the first half committed a similar hand ball. We've had a few rough decisions.Yorkshirelad wrote: ↑Sun Sep 28, 2025 2:39 pmExactly

If you didn’t know Woltemade nationality before seeing what he looked like, you could take a guess and most probably get it right

Their blatant diving brasses me off and with their players it is not necessary IMO
