Superb is not a word I'd use for it Vegas. First question (paraphrased) - 'Everyone tells me that it's easy to settle in here what do you think'? - What answer would you expect?
The player himself was impressive but the interviewers really need to find a new script.

I like Dan Jewell (Radio Lancs). He always sounds at ease with his role and tries to engage in respectful conversation with an interviewee rather than evidently working through a list of pre-prepared questions irrespective of the answers provided and how the conversation is flowing, or not.

He doesn’t take himself too seriously either. This is from his X profile - Journalist & commentator: “steering conversations about nothing much of substance, which can nearly threaten to become interesting”. It shows humility, which comes across in his work.

He's actually a cut above the station in general.

Dan Jewell is excellent. You can tell that he’s sometimes thinking (very effectively) on his feet to help the interviewee or to try and bring more nuance to the discussion. It’s exactly what a good interviewer at work should sound like. When he has the conversations in the studio with fans or representatives from three or four different Lancashire clubs, and he threads questions (which could have very different responses due to a club’s division or circumstances) together, is outstanding.
