Re: General Info - Wolves (a)
I'm meeting up with a friend, with our boys (as in young teenage lads, not our firm). We're hoping to have a couple of pints and lunch in one of the local hostelries.
From everything I read, Wolverhampton is something of a challenge for away supporters - with most/all pubs in the city centre being "home fans only".
Does anybody have any experience?

Used to be the Bluebrick for away fans but its closed now, the only ones I know you will get in is Prince Albert and Great Western both near the stationLeon_C wrote: ↑Wed Oct 08, 2025 2:46 pmI'm meeting up with a friend, with our boys (as in young teenage lads, not our firm). Don’t wear colours. Get in a pub early. Don’t move pub. Had a few games where match ticket only to get in, after a couple of hours before kick off. Had a time where they knew we were Burnley fans but we’re fine with it as we weren’t idiots. It’s not great though. I also think the Table atable at the Premier Inn which was away fans has closed??? That was the case last year. The Bluebrick it was called. Looks dead on googlemaps.

Yes, the Bluebricks is closed. Lots of chatter online about that.
I'd spotted the Great Western at the station. It's probably the best option - cheers!

Like the Queen Vic, a lot of Premier Inns are going over to guests only, not open to the public.claret wizard wrote: ↑Wed Oct 08, 2025 2:57 pmDon’t wear colours. Get in a pub early. Don’t move pub.
