Re: Agyei and Gray
Might pair Agyei with Vokes perhaps.
We will have to wait and see.

Re: Agyei and Gray
I think Agyei should be played as a holding midfielder.

Renny Smith would be my preference as one up top. FFS.

Quick, let's get Kev McDonald back in for midfield.
Is David Edgar well enough to cheer on from the bench, too?

I wouldn't be against this, I'd like to see what some of our younger lads can offer against a PL team in a cup competition that I don't really care about. I suspect he'll be cuptied though

Re: Agyei and Gray
Agyei was named as a Sub but not used in Coventry's second round defeat at Cambridge Utd. I don't know if that leaves him Cup-Tied.

He didn't pull up any trees at coventry, but that is mainly because he was played out of position.

Tarks is going to start up front tomorrow (That's what my mate told me the player who buys his milk from a friend of his has said anyway. FACT!)

Re: Agyei and Gray
Agyei has a touch of class just like Tarka, nice quick feet, a touch of trickery and a good eye for goal an upgraded Massanka, who himself has raw potential.
I'm sure many will argue he isn't ready for this level but a lot depends on personality, some players make the leap in one go, others take longer, and some never do, it would be good to find out whether Agyei is ready, sometimes it just takes a bit of good fortune to set a career in motion.

Re: Agyei and Gray
Are there any other players, that you havent seen play, who need some 'good fortune' ABC?
I mean you were absolutely on the mark with Renny Smith, weren't you?

Re: Agyei and Gray
If Agyei plays he'll have played for Burnley and Coventry, would he be allowed to play for a third team this season?
I'd heard that Brentford and Ipswich were interested in him. Would be a shame for him not to get a half season loan in the Championship for the sake of an hour of football against a Premier League second team.

Re: Agyei and Gray
Fair point but with only three strikers at present I'd be taking the gamble to see if he can make the leap, if Championship clubs are interested they too must be seeing something.
Don't think he will play but unless our youngsters get exposure we might as well pack up the youth set-up.
