Lowton's injury?

Post by NRC » Tue Jan 24, 2017 9:25 pm

Anything on Lowton? Including the injury time he played the last 15 minutes on what looked like a twisted ankle. Very immobile. Darikwa a shoehorn in for Saturday anyway, but it's probably a good piece of timing

Looked like cramp to me, he couldn't shake it off.

He certainly did the ankle-bend routine that you use for cramp.

Barton tried a Hollywood pass that Lowton had to stretch for, he certainly looked to have overdone it and had cramp for the remainder of the game. Would think he'll be fine for Saturday if selected, if we choose the rotation as used against Sunderland then he wouldn't be considered anyway.
