Norwich have had a reported £6m bid rejected for Yanic Wildschut. Could he be the replacement for Brady rather than Dijks who is a replacement for Olsson? A really hope not.

The article I linked above implied that any additions further to Dijks were dependent on the funds from the Brady sale, so I don't think so.

This is just not going to happen and l'm starting to not be too bothered about it. £13 million is a lot of money to fork out for someone who seems indifferent as to whether he comes here or not. I'm also not too happy about paying £6 million for Ashley Westwood. Steve Bruce has bought Lansbury and the other bloke from Hull, each costing half of that fee. Not a fantastic piece of business on our part.

What isn't a fantastic bit of business? The signings that may or may not happen, for fees that we haven't any info on yet?

Lee Darnborough, the man who once worked for us and his job was to sign players. He sent out panic emails to all clubs at the last hour of transfer deadline day. He was ultimately sacked and now works for Norwich. We are effectively waiting on him signing a replacement for Norwich to give us Brady.

I think Wildschut depends on Brady funds being available to Norwich rather than him being the replacement.
