Basic Defending

Post by claretman1 » Sat Feb 04, 2017 5:48 pm

Watch the crosses for both goals. Ball watching? Deeney 2 on 1 and gets a header in - no jump from full back no nothing from central defender. Second goal - Burnley central defender flat footed and ball watching lets man get across him (naming no names). £25 m plus? Any thoughts? mmmmmmmmmmm

neither full back got remotely close to stopping the crosses so that wasn't great. Never mind, crack on

The second goal was well taken in my opinion.
The first looks like Lowton lost his footing.

The first looked like Deeney bullied the defenders and for his header in. The 2nd was a Vokesy type goal well taken and difficult to defend.

The full backs werent remotely close. The first goal both arfield and ward left niang in acres of space to cross and keane / lowton shouldve done better. Disapointing to lose to such a poor team with such simple goals. Ten men or not.

That's why Keane should stay at Burnley. Far from the finished article. Would dissapear in Chelsea or man city's reserves just like wings and trippier.
