At one point Boyd chased across the pitch to cover when they had got down the wing. I suppose those efforts don't count.

protecting me from what? I have the right to voice my opinion on any topic, I don't know how you can't understand that. If you don't agree with what I type then argue your point like an adult not a child otherwise you're probably better adding me to your ''foe'' list (like you said you would and probably still haven't). Tony has already stated as to why you get banned, it's absolutely nothing to do with ''protecting me'' it's your language and the way you throw your toys out of the pram and hurl abuse after reading an opinion you disagree with.

Heaton - 6 - made some good saves, thought he could have done better for the first, although maybe it's just the way it looks when slowed down on replay.
Lowton - 7 - thought he was good, had a difficult job with the overlapping Holebas bombing down the wing constantly.
Keane - 6 - good 2nd half, shaky first.
Mee - 7 - Solid as usual
Ward - 7 - typical Ward, solid at the back offers a threat on the overlap, inconsistent with his delivery.
Arfield - 5 - thought he was useless, works hard but lacks quality. He rightly started the game after the teams performance against Leicester but with hindsight Brady was a better selection.
Barton - 9 - MOM, thought he was everywhere. Never gave up, without him we'd have probably collapsed at 2-0. A leader, he motivates the side.
Boyd - 6 - worked his ass off as usual, looked a threat without ever actually delivering much. 6 for his effort and intent.
Barnes - 7 - +1 for the penalty, wasn't one of his better games, understandable though.
Gray - 6 - always looks a threat with his forward runs but the ball rarely found him and when it did, he was completely on his own or his first touch let him down.

Brady - 8- lifted the game, offered more in his cameo than Arfield. His pacey whipped corners caused problems, the dipping volley was nicely hit, his link up with Ward down the left very neat and tidy, and his run at the end which led to a free kick in a good area is what we lacked, direct running with the ball.

Overall a complete write off from the 5th minute, 2 sloppy goals but it was always going to be the case. Excellent response in the 2nd half. It's really disappointing the way it panned out because I fancied us 11 v 11 today but it happens, there's positives to take. We didn't collapse like at West Brom/Soton.

UTC!
I only normally do ratings when I go to the match. I cannot afford to go to away games currently. I watched the game on sports mania on a very good stream but having the benefit of several replays and analysis changes the view on the game.
For instance in real time I thought Hendricks sending off was harsh until I saw the replay.
Other posters have pointed out Keanes
Mistakes yesterday, they don't need to be repeated here.
I thought we were unlucky not to get a draw yesterday and the lads did really well.
I did not consider it sniping, just did not agree with your score and gave one reason why, there were more that others have pointed out.

I don't award extra points for effort. Boyd always runs around. But his quality was absolutely none and if he's running off 60 yards out of position, you're actually backing up my point.

Left home at 10 am to travel the 205 miles to Watford and was home for 5pm. Got as far has M6 J3 and was parked up on the motorway until 2.15pm due to a fatality.

Watched the 1st 40 min of the game via app until my my mates battery went flat, and after that talk sport and then radio Lancashire, when in range

From what I saw Hendrick cost us the match, end off.

Hendrick made a cowardly challenge for the ball and deserved his red card and 3 match ban. He also cost us at least a point.

Sorry to hear about your problems trying to get to the match, never a pleasant experience.

Whilst Hendrick's dismissal probably did cost us the match and also has further implications, I certainly don't think it was a cowardly challenge, it was a challenge which competitive players make game in and game out, however, in this case his timing was badly wrong.

Heaton 8
Lowton 7 (1 off for first goal)
Keane 7 (1 off for second goal)
Mee 8
Ward 7
Barton 8
Arf 6
Boyd 7
Hendrick 0 (for daft tackle which may not have been a red, but why give the ref the chance??)
Barnes 8 (worked very hard and made things happen with limited service, but should have scored at the death)
Gray 5 (worked hard and looked utter bobbins with the same limited service as Barnes imo)

Brady 8 (as stated before he really lifted us and was a big reason why we really could have nicked a point.)
Other subs n/a

What is easy to overlook here is that I'm actually less annoyed by Hendrick's red card then by us YET AGAIN conceding in stoppage time at the end of a half (and imo that actually cost us just as much yesterday) AND Barnes missing at the death when we had battled so hard in the second half and caused Watford to wobble.
