Nowhere. Burnley is like Liverpool. Your car will be gone or burnt out by the time you return for it!! :o

I suggest as an away fan you use the Cricket club next door to the ground.

Lots of options really. If you get there early then you should be able to find room on Athletic St, Brockenhurst St or Olympia St. Example postcodes BB10 4ER or BB10 4LR 5 minutes walk from ground

Safe on street parking in between those postcodes and the ground but the key is to get there early as any available spaces fill up early and there are some single yellow lines that restrict match day parking. Plus those streets are hard to park on at the best of times, never mind match days

Try to get there at least an hour before kick off or you might be disappointed

Cricket Club next door to ground is a good option. Last time I checked it was £5 but not sure if it's gone up. BB10 4BN

By heck, I know the area and am gobsmacked that we've become a city according to the parking link to the club website.

Aircelle Ltd, Bancroft Ave, BB10 2TQ.
Capacity: 275 cars
Advantage: Away from city centre traffic, close to motorway after the game ahead of traffic flow.
15 minute walk or hop on local bus (3 minute journey).
Cost £3.

I always park at Towneley. There will always be places and it costs £1.50 for the day. 5 minutes walk to Turf Moor

Towneley Holmes Road, Burnley BB11 3EN

It's a bit of a walk from the ground but there are loads of free spaces (almost a car-free zone) in an area that I would recommend called the Stoops Estate.

Burnley wood is good around the belfields chippy way. Your car will be in safe hands there

TK Max is only 10 mins walk from ground - it's free.
Ignore the no parking signs - they give leeway on match days

Only to pedestrians. Cars get a big fine.

St. Mary's church £5 near the ground. Can take a while to get away. For a quicker escape but a longer walk, King Street will have space.

Wherever you park, beware of the possibility of The Burnley Wallet.

Some fake news there Tom, Cricket Club next to ground also serves away fans food and drinks. Car parks on Queens Lancashire Way £2.10 for 3 hours so arrive after 2 pm. 15 minutes walk to the ground.

St. Marys Church is only 2 minutes from the ground and is also only £4-5.

I've not been to a game this season but last year was only £4. I can't imagine it would be more than that. Easily the best option IMO.

PS: That link is about as useful as a chocolate fireguard concerning how to find the place but google is your friend and will show you exactly how close to Turf Moor it actually is.

Have a great day out in Burnley TomImp and hope you go home having watching your side suffer a good hiding!

I generally park on one of the 2 car parks on Centenary Way. The one off the Tesco entrance is fixed price, £3.80 whereas the one on the other side of the road often has more spaces but costs £5.60 for 3+ hrs

Tom, I agree with levraiclaret, Queens Lanashire Way, but make sure you don't park in my lucky space. Coming off the M65, keep in left hand lane up slip road round the Gannow roundabout. Be careful it can be very busy and confusing. Keep in left hand lane down Cavalry Way into Westgate (passed Chorley Nissan), at roundabout turn right onto Queens Lancashire Way and car park on right near Court. Good luck and enjoy the day but not too much. :D

Any reason why Fulledge Car park has been shut for years? Just seems like wasted space to me

I agree this is probably best option for quick getaway after match. Once parked just look for Burnley fans to give you directions to the ground. Once you have found your way there it should be relatively easy to get back to your car. Pick out a couple of landmarks when walking, the Big Window pub on Manchester Road would be a good one.

We usually aim to get there quite early and park up and walk into town. So maybe 2 hours before kickoff. Almost always park for free in the Premier Inn or on the road outside. Usually a quickish getaway from there as it queues initially but I cut though to Colne Road and go to the M65 via Briercliffe then back on the M65 to head south M6. Works for me.

Didn't work after Chelsea though. Don't know what was happening but didn't move outside the Premier Inn. Turned round went via Tod and fans M1 for a change.

Blame plod. After not managing the traffic leaving this way for games this season, they did so after both the Leicester and Chelsea games. In previous years and for the Leicester game they have controlled the junction of Queen Victoria Rd and Queen's Park Rd by letting blocks of traffic through alternately. But for the Chelsea game they blocked off Queen Victoria Rd and just let all the traffic flow from Queen's Park Rd, hence the blockage at the Premier Inn.
