Yep, I am in the same boat.
2 x ST's in CFS but needed 3 tickets,
so have had to move to JHU.

Same for a lad who sits in there who attends with us.

He moved for Bristol with his lad to Jimmy Mac upper. Didn't enjoy it the same and it was cold and windy.
So he's watching it at home this time rather than both being able come in the CFS...
( excuses most probably, but people don't like change )

We are getting better but after this Lincoln debacle we possibly need to get a cup ticket arrangements plan in place for next time.

Obviously can't see how the CFS is going but tickets been selling pretty well all week, quite a lot gone in the James Hargreaves since Monday.

I'll let Tonbridge count up the spare seats later, i don't have the patience or enough fingers and toes.

I think we'll hit the magic 20 000 which would be a fabulous gate.

Correct, people don't like enforced change. Hence the reason the club retained some seats in the CFS but as that wouldn't allow all the ST holders to claim their own seats they made it 1st come 1st served to be fair to everyone. Not sure what more they could do? Interested to know what you mean by 'a cup ticket arrangement plan'?

This issue is Leisure, some people are wanting to go on with friends who are unable to buy tickets in the CFS, so the whole group has moved to other parts of the ground, it looks like the CFS hasn't sold out as of yet which is a massive shame.

No reason at all why fans with a purchase history couldn't have snapped the remaining tickets up on general sale. (Unless i'm missing something)

Leisure - This
Goody1975 wrote:No reason at all why fans with a purchase history couldn't have snapped the remaining tickets up on general sale. (Unless i'm missing something)
Also the fact that the tickets were first come first serve from 9:00 Saturday, when sadly 2000 of out fans had set off to Watford. Would be a shame if a group of those people couldn't sit together/get their seats in the CFS due to supporting the side away from home.

Makes them either. Move seats, don't sit together, move stands or don't bother.

And as for a plan for the future I think it's most beneficial for the team to keep the most fans as possible in that end if not the whole end, with try to house some away fans either totally elsewhere or partly in another stand right hand side of Bob Lord for instance.

The more successful we are the chances of this happening again is increaseing.

There's four of us go together in CFS. I go with mates, but bringing Mrs and kids on tomorrow, so moving to JHL. Theres a lot of people I know who sit in CFS normally who are moving elsewhere tomorrow.
If you have a history of buying with the club you should be able to get a ticket in there. It's great. As it's only ST holders. I suspect there'll be a few hundred empty seats, which would be a shame.

Hey my Burnley friends :) Ive been reading a lot of this message board over the last week and whilst you obviously have a lot of idiots on here I have found it fun and entertaining :D

I have a question for tomorrow. I get the impression your crowds are a bit better this year due to tourist fans and that you probably get 2-3000 neutrals who just come to watch the Premier league and not Burnley.

With that in mind on most home games do they sell half and half scarves i.e half Burnley half Middlesbrough? I would love to get a half Lincoln half Burnley scarf to remember my day out and as its probably the biggest game in both teams recent history I reckon a lot of supporters would look to buy something like this

As the ground is gonna be half and half in terms of volume of fans might as well do it with the scarfs

Do not worry little princess, Burnley on match days is besieged by random Scousers and Mancs flogging these offending articles. I can count on the fingers of one hand the 6 people I've ever seen wearing these in Burnley.

Well I was one who thought that Lincoln should get the whole stand, but that it was great in the end that the club still wanted our lot in there. I think that it will be a bit naff to see empty seats in that end because I'd like to see as many Clarets in there as possible.

I also think that it's a bit naff (as others have since alluded to) that non season ticket holders at Burnley are still viewed with suspicion, as though that the majority of them are complete f***ing idiots who can't be trusted.

It is comments like this from the midget princess that suggest that they are not based in the real world.

"probably the biggest game in both teams recent history"

Mind you, made me laugh.

Could I suggest that our recent game against Chelsea was perhaps our most recent biggest game. Or we could go back to our play off final against Sheffield Utd, but this.....really.

Shouldnt you be counting seats on the Burnley website or looking up some statistical data to compare Burnley and Lincoln away crowds in the 1970's :geek: :geek: :geek:

No true factual data of away support in the 1970's but i'm sure Lincoln took 15,000 everywhere they went with them being such a huge club.

I hope Princess Imp's alarm clock battery runs out and he misses his train to Burnley.

How tedious can you get. The only positive thing is that in 24 hours we'll never, ever, hear from him again. I feel sorry for members of the North Ferriby United messageboard who'll have to endure him from now on.

This is the sad thing about modern football when fans like you are more concerned by coming an extra place higher in the league than winning the FA Cup :(

For old fashioned clubs like us the magic of the cup is still there and really didnt think you lot had become part of the Premiership establishment so quickly :o

Only pairs of seats to be found now are in the far corners of the longside or in the Jimmy Mac.

Looking like it could be a near sellout depending on the take up from walk on, which given the price of hope would be good

Your are obviously more excited about getting a draw at home to Chelsea in the league than reaching the QF of the FA Cup.

I do get it though youve got to make the most of your days in the sun as in 10 years time you'll prob be back in the lower leagues

Are we speaking a different language here?

You support a club that I'm sure is ace and I'm glad you do.

You remind me of Morecambe fans when they came within two leagues of us. "We'll be bigger than you this time next year".

No they didn't , and neither will you (even if you win, and if you do, then I'll hope you win the next game and the next)

Slightly weird.

Ha ha..exactly right. So let's get this straight ...30 years ago Lincoln and Burnley were both in an equivalent condition but since then we have clawed our way steadily up the leagues to the point we have the chance to establish ourselves in the Premier League whilst Lincoln have .....err, actually stayed at pretty much the same place in the hierarchy. And now we have a Lincoln fan coming on here telling us we are arrogant. We are not arrogant...we have swanned round the dumps of League 2 (though never the Conference thankfully). it's just that we have been much, much more successful and well-run than Lincoln have. Let them have their day out .....they are seemingly condemned to be perpetual minnows. Just a shame they don't seem to respect our achievements.

I'd say 99% of Burnley fans are desperate for us to progress in the cup. We've got this far and given most of our players were used to playing a lot of midweek games so I can't see why we shouldn't. That being said every place we could gain in the league is still crucial. At this level every place counts for an extra few million pounds, which that a club like us, even with our recent financial buoyancy could benefit hugely from. It's totally reasonable for some fans to prefer that we focus on the league because we have an utterly incredible chance of maintaining our Premier League status. It's not a view I share but I can understand it.
To suggest we're part of the ''Premiership establishment'' whatever that's supposed to mean, just because some fans might want us to sack the cup off is balls. We're just realistic.

Personally, I'd like us to tub Lincoln tomorrow and get another home draw in the QF. Why not go all the way now.

I would love to get a half Lincoln half Burnley scarf to remember my day out and as its probably the biggest game in both teams recent history I reckon a lot of supporters would look to buy something like this

As the ground is gonna be half and half in terms of volume of fans might as well do it with the scarfs
Fun and entertaining don't spring to mind with your posts
You seem to come across a little bit bitter.
Trying to snipe all the time, what's your problem?

you need to fish better than with the half and half boro nonsense haha good try

You need to learn one more word - perspective. This is possibly one of the dullest games in prospect for us over the past seven or eight years. It's not our 'cup final', it's just an irritating distraction that we all want to see over and done with. Roll on tomorrow afternoon!

Hey Princess. Want to know how we feel about tomorrow's game and the prospect of 'hordes' of parochial bumpkins obsessing and wetting themselves over the prospect of visiting a top football ground........?

Does anyone else think princess is actually a 45 year old bloke who likes dressing up at the weekend?

He certainly likes his keyboard persona and everything is a little too girly.

For old fashioned clubs like us the magic of the cup is still there and really didnt think you lot had become part of the Premiership establishment so quickly :o
It's Premier League. Mind you, not much chance of you having to type that again
