for the Youth team? Apologies if I'm being thick but what exactly is the money going too? What does a few hundred quid do for the Youth team?

I've thought similar, I know the board has raised money for the youth team in the past but surely the club can afford the extra bits nowadays.

Money would have been much better raised for Pendleside Hospice or another local charity IMO.

All the info is here,

if the board would rather give the money to another cause,so be it,but how can you say that your youth team isnt important?

Our youth team is very important - as was the work that people did for raising money for things for them when the club was struggling.

But as a fan, in the hard times as a club I loved helping the club out....with current financea at the club I feel personally that there are other charitiea which could be helped more with the funds at the minute.

When the football cycle revolves and we have no money as a team then I would happily support the youth team financially again.
