Leicester will stay up easily now they have sacked Ranieri. 100% the correct decision made by them.
Boro, Sunderland and either Bournemouth or Hull as the 3rd.

I think Boro need to change their approach to games and open up. Yes they are likely to concede a few more but unless they start to score more asap then they're done for.

Sunderland are going down and I think the other team will be Bournemouth. If Bournemouth can suddenly stop conceding a lot then I'd probably change that 3rd team to Hull.

there is time for the named teams to pull away to safety, unlikely as it seems for sunderland, it can be done.Swansea looked doomed until the new manager came in. Glad to see there's no mention of us being dragged into the dogfight, although realistically a bad run would see us in amongst it within a few games. Whilst there is a cushion points wise at the moment, we all know how quickly things can change.
If Leicester can muster an unexpected turnaround, others can too. Ideally we need to be grabbing a couple of wins from this enforced period of away games rather than hoping for an odd draw. Home form is astounding if we can maintain it.

Since the formation of the 38 game season no more than one, two at a push, have had an upturn in form to such an extent that a size able gap has been closed, but not to the point where any of the teams with such gap have been relegated.

9 points with 12 games to go is massive at this stage of the season.

I think Sunderland, Boro and either Hull or Bournemouth
will go down. As long as it isn't us.

Leicester chucked the form book out of the window last night.

They have a lot more quality than most down there, but it still shows we need to make sure we get as many points as possible as soon as possible.

Boro simply don't score enough goals. Sunderland arent good enough and Hull despite their spurt of form don't look to me to have enough quality in key areas, particularly up front, to score enough to survive with any comfort. So those 3, but the possibility of Bournemouth getting dragged in or Leicester or Palace discovering that this weekend was a false dawn cannot be discounted, with Hull the most likely beneficiaries.

We are rapidly getting to the time when fixtures remaining become important, so even though I predicted Leicester at the season start and on page 1 of this, I think they'll survive because of their easy home fixtures left.

So now I think Palace, Sunderland and Boro. Two shocking run ins for those three, just Sunderland seem easier.

Sunderland - far too reliant on Defoe's goals.
Boro - far too reliant on anyone to score goals
Hull - not enough quality up front, Mbokani out for 6 weeks now won't help matters.

Al of Palace, Swansea and Bournemouth can turn teams over with Swansea having the midfield quality as opposed to the other two who have the goal threat up front and out wide,

Speaking of crisis clubs in the north-east, aren't Hartlepool in trouble......again?

At the moment I'd say it's looking very likely that Sunderland, Hull & Boro will go.

As has already been mentioned, Sunderland look like it's one survival escape too many. Hull look too weak and Boro simply don't have anyone to score the goals and a manager who isn't good enough to adapt.

I disagree - every time I've seen Mbokani he looks awful. Don't recall him scoring for Hull.

At this stage I'd say Sunderland, Boro and Palace.Big Sam seems deflated after the England debacle but if he can raise his Palace side like he did at Sunderland then Hull could drop. Just feel Leicester, Bournemouth and Swansea will pick up the necessary points.

Did a predictor the other day and got Sunderland, Boro and Palace to go down, with a 5 point margin to 4th bottom.

I hope Palace go down for 2 reasons.

1) BFS
2) Merson's comments:

"I know where Palace are, but they won't be going down with Sam Allardyce in charge, believe me," Merson told Sky Sports.
"For me, that is the biggest cert ever. They will stay up because Sam Allardyce is there."

If it is Sunderland, Boro and Hull - Next season's Championship could see a lot of derbies/close games if Uders, weeds and Wednesday don't get promoted (assuming Geordies will) and Sheffield Utd and Scunthorpe and Bradford got promoted from League 1 - that would make for an eventful season and a lot of easy away matches to get to for their fans
