New Points record for Burnley in the Premier League with 6 games to go - says the headline obscuring the very poor game
Oh and we are back to 8 points clear of the relegation places

I can`t help it! Thousands of miles away I HONESTLY crave the chance to watch us on the internet and EVERY time it is an away game, we are bereft of ANY positivity whatsoever in our play. It is just 2 hours of uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
Stop whining - we're gonna be in the prem next season. The objective for this season has been achieved.

Elsewhere - Tranmere won 9 - 0 to level with Lincoln in the National league (Lincoln have a game in hand) - can Tranmere do it? how would the thugs deal with that?

It's not how you get the points, it's how many points you get that matters. At the start of the season everyone on here didn't give a cr4p how we did it, just as long as we stayed up. As a business strategy, drawing ugly is better than losing beautifully.

Well said. We weren't good today but our performances throughout the season have meant we deserve to be clear of relegation. Enjoy it.

We DON`T though. There is a belief (visually!). There is intent to attack. There is (an attempt to harbour) the notion of football. I actually watch believing that we CAN win. Dyche`s substitutions at home are positive in intent (sometimes). Away he (Dyche) harbors NOT ONE OUNCE OF THOUGHT THAT VICTORY IS NEEDED.

No but we got a point and will be in the prem next season. Of course I'd have liked more but we've done enough. We certainly need more quality in midfield and up front but I'm sure Dyche will look at that over the summer now that we've all but achieved safety. I think you've forgotten where we've come from over the last season and need some perspective

I attended MOST of the games between 1990 and the calendar year 2002 so no, I have perspective. Before then from 1982 I`d say 50% and it was cancerous viewing.
I appreciate what our magnificent club has achieved.

Agree. It's very frustrating to watch us away knowing that we could be so much better against the poorest sides in the division.
Once the dust settles and people have time to reflect then it's easy to look at the league table and forget any frustrations you had during the game.
I'm looking at the 36 points and feeling happy now but during the game i had to open a second bottle

Karanka would have had a nervous breakdown had he still been manager, and just might have criticised our use of the long ball. Shame he's gone - Agnew sounds normal but won't be in the job long

I mean I guess a point will do but its horrible and painful to watch us be so hopeless and negative every single away game. Some people will enjoy watching the away games but I don't, its all too anti football park the bus timewaste from minute 1 for my liking. I'll still be watching expecting nothing to change (because Dyche doesn't do change) but hoping we can score from 2 corners and the opposition get 3 red cards because thats the only way we will win an away game.

We have earned a point against a team that had to win away from home.
That's a good point.
KRFBC must be quite naive if he thinks we can play flowing football in the premiership having just been promoted.
Ask Hull & Boro where it's got them.
If we time waste for 89 mins & get a point away I would think that's a good point.

Since Marco Silva took over at Hull they have been one of the most consistent sides in the league. Boro certainly dont play free flowing football. I think NoNayForever is stupid if he cant see the middle ground between free flowing football like Real Madrid and the negative hoofball of a Dyche team.

Don't be crude KBRFC.
My mistake. I suspected you may be a wovers fan given your penchant to criticise our brilliant manager and his brilliant team.
Most Clarets can see that we are a pragmatic, tough side. We have no little talent and flair, two England internationals and countless others, but we've had to fight damn hard to get where we are.
And unless you are Jonny Depp or me, tragically you'd get nowhere near Mrs G. She's lovely.
