Lowtons Two Saves

Post by ElectroClaret » Sat Apr 08, 2017 11:54 pm

Not been mentioned much, but just seen them on MOTD, great flick around the post from boros free kick
for the first, and a good clearance off the line from the corner.

Great defending, ML getting better all the time.

The first one was unbelievably good.

I wonder if Barnes will get into trouble for the elbow while on the floor, no doubt someone already told the FA probably PB he was desperate to get Keane sent off.

Not seen MOTD yet - has it been shown as a neutral?

As for Lowton believe he had a good game, two excellent saves and Ward looked to be playing well bombing forward getting crosses in.

Barnes elbow was ludicrous. Frustrated yes. But what a stupid thing to do no wonder he gets nowt.

The header was great athleticism as he had to change his direction to stretch to glance it wide.

I don't think I've ever seen a better goal line clearance than that by Lowton. For that he gets my vote for Man of The Match.

He certainly earnt us a point alongside Heaton.
He's probably one of our most improved players this season.

Perhaps Mr Dyche can spot a good 'en to take us to the new level?

Ask Scott Arfield!

Just had a good night out in Durham with a long time Boro season ticket holder who was at the game. He reckons Lowton was our MOM. He also thought Barton was back to his old self and probably needs moving on.
