Just been looking on the Palace site and to buy home matchday tickets as a non season ticket holder you still need to sign up for a membership, costing either £35 or £25.

Bank holiday weekend on the lash in London sounds a good idea.

Joshua v Klitschko is also on that day at Wembley so accommodation may be at a premium (more than usual)

Booked into a Travelodge near Old St station. Taking the missus and she can't wait! Should be a good couple of days on the beers and then a bank holiday Monday to recover!

Re: Crystal Palace v Burnley – Ticket Information
Thanks. Surprised it is so few given how many southern based Burnley fans there are (even though it's on tv)1989_claret wrote:Just over 600 tickets sold so far.

Has anyone ever established why we keep sales and allocations a secret?

Anyone going down from the Burnley area deserve a medal and the first away win of the season. Top effort.

Because if they revealed that there was loads left then people would delay buying them and may not bother in the end.aggi wrote:Virgin say they're planning to run a nearly full service https://www.virgintrainseastcoast.com/n ... ast-coast/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Has anyone ever established why people need to know?
Re: Crystal Palace v Burnley – Ticket Information
Really? Does that happen with the teams who do announce their allocations? Generally away games are a bit less of a last minute decision so I'd have thought that would be less likely to happen, and on the opposite side it may prompt sales where there aren't many tickets left.Winstonswhite wrote:Because if they revealed that there was loads left then people would delay buying them and may not bother in the end.

For away games it's useful if you have multiple people with different numbers of points for instance. Do you need to get the tickets at 5,000 points and not sit with those who only have 3,000 points or season tickets or can you wait and get them all together.
