Yeah tried a few, loving the Hobgoblin atm, of the few I've tried since I got back they do pour well and keep well. Just make sure you let them settle for a good few hours before drinking....

Hi Steve - Adnam's Ghost ship is not a craft beer, but it is a good beer. I would buy this - how much / where from?

I have bought this before and it's not worth it. It's just a faff and is still very gassy. You're better off buying the adnams cans

Ghost Ship is a nice drop. Lighter, hoppy and slightly floral as le. Nice served chilled with a good BBQ.

The best beer be it cask or craft is the one you like to drink. My favourite is Brewdogs Punk.

Craft - another marketing gimmick - it's just keg ****, like prosecco is cheap, chav spumante and Magners is made from largely Belgian and Dutch apple pulp. What next?

A quite superb beverage. I can't get enough of it.

If you like Punk IPA try Treason, or 13 guns. £2 a can in spoons....

So cheap it's lethal.

Not seen those kegs before, but Ghost Ship was one of my favourite bottled beers before Morrisons stopped stocking it.

Asda you say?

What does 'craft beer' mean? Did a google search, most links were selling it. No description, still dunno what it is.

...And can you get it cheap from Lidl?

I've supped bottles of Adnam's Ghost and it's decent enough. Someone mentioned Hop House 13. Hop House is what it says - a hoppy lager. Supermarkets do special offers every so often and it's worth picking up if the price is right.

The best uk beers of the last few years have been from Thornbridge, Cloudwater, Magic Rock, Northern Monk and a good handful of others, including the daddies (imo) Kernel.

Unfortunately I've been off the booze for a good few months, but I'm looking forward to getting back onto it shortly.

Definition of craft beer.....a beer made in a traditional or non-mechanized way by a small brewery

So Adnams massive brewery so not craft

Vocation and Beavertown are two other breweries that are up there with the best and sold at supermarkets nationwide rather than just specialist shops which are few and far between around here as far as I know. (I can only think of Whalley Wine Shop really)

Isnt a craft beer just a fizzy version of a Real Ale?

Basically lager for hipsters.

I used to work in the building that is now the Northern Monk brewery and tap. I've been in once; it was very odd seeing the fermentation tanks right where my desk used to be.
