Keane gone Mee Injured
Today showed how threadbare we will be down the middle next season,Tarkowski was out of his depth playing just 45 minutes today....shocking.

Re: Keane gone Mee Injured
Keane hasn't gone - Mee did get injured and Tarkowski got his first ever run out in defence in the Premier League.

No he wasn't.
That is all.

Re: Keane gone Mee Injured
We'll sign at least one centre half in the summer. Mee will be back. Tarkowski shouldn't be judged from his 45 mins today.

Re: Keane gone Mee Injured
Remember we were chasing the game at that point and the midfield had not been lively in the first half - don't just blame one player. Agree game time will help him settle in - Keane took a while to settle and has had some wobbles too this season.

Re: Keane gone Mee Injured
Sorry I thought Tarks was one of two players to come out of that embarrassing one dimensional display with any credit. The other being, and I can't believe I'm saying this but Andre Gray. Mee's injury is a big blow he has certainly been our best defender all season although he isn't getting the same plaudits as his partner.

Keane's the most overrated centre half iv ever seen. Good player for us but a top four club level centre half? Never in a million years. Ben Mee's a miles better defender.

Apart from the OP wrongly stating Keane has gone,Mee is injured and Tarka is out of his depth I think they have everything spot on

Re: Keane gone Mee Injured
So if we lost out first choice pair of centre halves we'd be threadbare? No shite Sherlock.
Imagine if we lost Gray and Barnes, we'd be a bit light up front. And it's really not worth thinking about if we lost Ward and whoever our other left back is. OMG best sign 60 first choice players just to be safe.

Tarkowski needs to move on to get game time, not really a framework player.

How many goals did we concede with him on the pitch?

Re: Keane gone Mee Injured
Can't understand singling out Tarkowski from today. Woeful opening post.

United had it sewn up by then....they won at a canter, that is the worst we have played at home all season.fidelcastro wrote:Why was he out of his depth?

Why is it woeful from where I was stood he couldn't put a pass to a team mate even if he was stood next to him.taio wrote:Can't understand singling out Tarkowski from today. Woeful opening post.

Re: Keane gone Mee Injured
I hope we have serious competition at centre-back next season, that means signing or developing at least two central defenders if Keane leaves
Assuming we stay up of course.
I'm not too pleased with our lack of squad rotation.

What would you say if I told you his pass completion rate was better than Keane's, Lowton's and Ward's?Steve1956 wrote:Why is it woeful from where I was stood he couldn't put a pass to a team mate even if he was stood next to him.

Re: Keane gone Mee Injured
The only man to blame today was our manager. Ludicrous that Defour did not come on at half time to play in the middle. Clearly we won't see him again now. What a waste of talent and money.

Keane,Lowton And Ward are overrated ? Will that do?taio wrote:What would you say if I told you his pass completion rate was better than Keane's, Lowton's and Ward's?
Re: Keane gone Mee Injured
Yep it'll do - it confirms what I thought
Re: Keane gone Mee Injured
Interesting view Steve, did Tarkowski do something specifically to make you think he's not up to standard in the premier league? I thought he brought the ball out from the back and distributed well. There were a couple of moments where he lost the ball, but he's had very little game time and united pressed us high up the pitch, which made it difficult.

Re: Keane gone Mee Injured
So is Mee injured or not?
Re: Keane gone Mee Injured
I thought the game was crying out for Defour's quality on the ball in the second half, but Mourinho got the tactics spot on and they out-battled us. We would have needed to drop a striker and played a midfield 5 in order to make it work, which would have been counter-productive. I hope Dyche was just keeping his powder dry with Defour as it was unlikely we were going to come back from 0-2 down.summitclaret wrote:The only man to blame today was our manager. No,but the way you have phrased it in your op makes it appear that you believe the bullsh!t posted earlier that stated Mee was out for the season when in all likelihood he will start the next gameSteve1956 wrote:Cheers,so taking Mee off was tactical then ?

No I never saw such a post, next season if those two have both gone or one has gone and one is injured,we have no one currently good enough on our books to replace either, making relegation next season if not this one...inevitable .THEWELLERNUT70 wrote:No,but the way you have phrased it in your op makes it appear that you believe the bullsh!t posted earlier that stated Mee was out for the season when in all likelihood he will start the next game

So does this mean we aren't shopping during close season and in the run up to the closure of the transfer window?

So YOU was that person who STOOD in front of ME thus not enabling ME to have a view and a chance to give an appropriate response on how the TEAM and indidivual players performed ?
Shame on you.
