Barnes v Palace for me too. The Arfield winner against Everton runs it close, but Barnes' was a better goal

Some 'Mentioned in Despatches'
Robbie Brady's free kick v Chelsea was probably the best dead ball strike of the century to date.
Ashley Barnes winner v Palace, the best feeling of euphoria this season.
Sam Vokes opener v Liverpool set the tone especially after the disappointing poor opener against Swansea. Had we lost to Liverpool the whole season may have panned out differently.
The winner for me though was Tom Heaton's performance at Old Trafford, it was simply World Class.

Re: Your highlight of the season
I've seen a fair few moments over the years but most I recall are performances / goals /results away from home.
Barnes v Palace at the Turf will live long in the memory. The game just went off from the start. Burnley cruising at 2-0 within minutes and a goal for Palace then a late penalty in the second half making it 2-2.
Utterly deflated, we were being put to the sword by Palace as they sensed victory in the final moments. Their supporters were roaring them on. The Clarets, however, broke quickly and Barnes tried to put through JBG but his pass was overhit. JBG spotted Barnes in miles of space, put a great ball across and Barnes' half volley sent us berserk.
Then they hit the post within seconds of the restart.
Yet another pair of undies ruined.

Joshua and Fury couldn't have knocked out Palace like Barnes and Gray, home and away.

Re: Your highlight of the season
Whilst I was euphoric at Gray's goal V Liverpool at home and Arfield's late winner v Everton and of course Barnes winner v Palace, just now I can't see past Gray's goal on Saturday and the surge to the front whilst he celebrated in front of us and the fact that at 59 years old if the steward hadn't held me back (and inadvertently knocked my glasses off!) I'd have probably been on the pitch with the players and facing a longer ban than our Joey!

Re: Your highlight of the season
Mark Hughes getting dogs abuse at half time on the Turf and not being able to resist having a pop back was funny, Klopp's face at full time on the Turf was special.

Re: Your highlight of the season
Barnes' winner against Palace for the same reasons many have given. From a comfortable 2-0 lead we looked certain to lose the game only to win it with a last minute break-away, and a great goal at that. Didn't Palace still have time to hit the post after the goal or was that Everton.
I wasn't at the Palace away game and was out of the country but watched on a stream on my phone - as such it can't be the highlight. But I celebrated Gray's goal as much as any this season.

Re: Your highlight of the season
Loads of highlights, contrary to far too many low posts that appeared on here after we'd lost.
But I'll go for Sam's opener V Liverpool.
We always knew it would be a tough ask to stay up.
But beating Liverpool on the Turf set the scene.

And my highlight ever was that winner by David Edgar. (Er, did he ever score a goal for us?)
