A point worth making is that those 11/12 year olds would almost certainly have been accompanied
by an adult ! What were they doing to allow there little scrote to run onto the pitch ? They
should have chucked a cargo net over the lot of them, hitched it to a tractor and dragged them
out of the ground, up Manchester Road and dumped them on Crown Point.
Despicable, selfish and defiant behaviour.
I am really, really p!ssed off.
Good.
I was ashamed to watch that at full time, but reading your massive hissy fit makes it all seem worth while

One of many things to be embarrassed about today.
Never seen so many people make so little noise.
Proud of the team for what they have achieved but our support is f**king terrible

Me too and I'm sure many others intended on staying but left because of it.

Did you not think before the game that there was every possibility that there would be a pitch invasion?

Gotta love the "disgusted""ashamed" "appalled" brigade ,ffs a few hundred (mainly) kids ran on ,my son ran on also he's nearly 10 and managed to pat Vokes on the back which made his day. Took a few pics then came off.
So a few fans sang "who are ya" at the hammers fans (replying with "you're going to school in the morning")
While I appreciate it doesn't take much to rattle some of the holier than though cages on here, some really do need to get a grip, stop seething, have a warm milky drink and watch midsomer murders or shop for "comfy shoes"

I saw a large group of panting wheezing gasping stewards staggering along the JHL pitch side on their way to the CFS few mins b4 players came out after the game. Not sure if an inflatable needing popping or a hot dog had been dropped but it was like The Great Train robbery for the stewards

Was it the taller one in the jacket or the shorter one in the cap that did it?
Reason for asking is that moments before the shorter one had just returned the ball into and was having a bit of fun with the crowd.
Then saw the two of them returning but didn't see who popped it as it was at same time as the penalty/free kick incident with Gray on the edge of the box

You're really not serious.
We were sat with one eye on the match and one on the stop watch as the injury time ticked down, knowing that with Hull losing to Sunderland we were safe so long as we didn't concede. We were jubilant at the final whistle.
I can't believe that anyone who had been following our progress throughout the season would not have been checking on the Hull score throughout the afternoon?

Absolute idiots, the lot of them.
Sadly, as a result, most of the stands were half empty by the time the players came out for the lap of honour.
Selfish, idiotic - and illegal. Its the adults who actually went on the pitch, and the parents of the kids who went on, who have the most to be ashamed of.
I get it after historic achievements when the game has had lots riding on it. Not after games like today and it spoilt the occasion. No big deal, but a shame.

What is most disgraceful, Burnley have stayed up against all odds and less than half the people on the ground today stayed to clap them during their lap of honour. Burnley staying up in the Premier League. Disgusting - should have been a stadium full.

So some people don't like those who leave early. Has it ever crossed your mind that some of us had other appointments to get to? I have shown my appreciation and support positively home and away all season and while it was a pity I couldn't stay to applaud the team's lap of honour it was necessary and my decision. Stop going on about early leavers as if we are some kind of poor man's version of a fan!

"You should hang your heads in shame" That's somewhat over the top isn't it? You think loyal supporters who fork out their hard earned cash on season tickets or match day to support their team are shameful if chose to leave at the end today.
Completely up to them I would say, If they wanted to stay and show their appreciation that's fine but equally fine if they chose to leave at the end of the game.
The fact that they are there to support their team week in week out is the main thing in my opinion.

I allowed my two young lads to go on the pitch, because they were totally set on congratulating our players personally for a fantastic season. It was what they wanted to do, and having honoured the tradition since the mid 70/80's, can't see what the big deal is about once the players have had a drink and picked up their kids and families. If you want something to get upset about? Read the papers in the morning. They were on and off quicker than a time wasting substitution.

**** poor from a handful of fans.
I've done that very job in the past on the last game s of a few nothing seasons.
We were always told that holding/forcing the people back would potentially cause harm to folk.
In my view if the club raised the wall slightly in front of the JHL and gave up the front row (take the seats out) it would be far easier to manage, but it is a big ask.
I do remember doing this as a kid (13ish) but never again I noticed the boos, didn't like it. Some people thrive on it, and for those people, we have Jeremy Kyle and pitch invasions. Karma is a bitch.

Perhaps not announcing it at all before the end of the match might help. It seems to be treated as an invitation as opposed to a request not to do it.
Unless we allow in a load of unsupervised kids, it's the parents fault that the kids run on. As for the grown men that run on, goading the away fans, making us look small time and in all honesty, playing into the hands of the northern idiots view, they should be fined.
