Re: The political leaders debate tonight.
Just picked up the London Evening Standard.
Apparently Labour are now 17 points ahead of Tories in Greater London.
This is exactly the margin by which Blair won in London in 97 when he got a landslide.
Now of course, London isn't representative of the country as a whole any more than Scotland is. But bearing in mind the 2 parties were neck and neck in London at the end of March, it just shows how appalling May's campaign and strategy have been.

[quote="hampsteadclaret"]- well you two above...the ones chucking the abuse about, and then unable to back it up with a single example..
You found evidence of me being a fascist yet dermot..? [I've never been called a fascist in my life..
] so perhaps you're off the mark.
So where were we? Ah yes. You really must lighten up, Hampers. You're taking this far too seriously.
''a 'comment' made on a previous thread'' referred to the comment that I had just made that, in turn, referred to a a previous thread on fascism that I don't think had anything to do with you at all.
If you read the initial post carefully, you will I think find that in no way do I say that you are a fascist or have said anything in the past that aspires to you having fascist beliefs.
My point was that you are developing dictatorial tendencies with this annoying way of numbering the posts that you wish to disseminate upon instead of using the quote bar. It makes you come across, as I suggested, as some sort of demi god. A case, as I have said, of socialism reaching to the far left where it, and not you personally, eventually turns into fascism. This, I think you will find, has happened on just too many occasions throughout history.
I do hope that this clears up the matter up to your satisfaction but, if you have you get back to me again, please refrain from numbering the post. It is just so annoying.
Thank you so much.

152...[
] I put the bloo** post number on so anyone who wants to read it, knows what I am referring to.
Don't tell me how to post...you can do what you like.
- so no fascist references then..that's good, I knew you wouldn't find any.
So..you reckon that.... me putting numbers on posts = dictatorial tendencies..
Are you for real...or are you having a bit of sport?

One things for sure. If Labour do win, you won't find the right on the streets rioting and protesting. They will be at work paying for his ideas

Isn't that Trump? I'm sure there's a good Twitter exchange about it (with John Stewart?) but Im not techy enough to find or post it.Imploding Turtle wrote:You can tell who lost by looking at who is complaining about either the audience, the moderation, or the questions.
The audience was the most leftwing audience ever seen, according Fuckface von Clownstick himself

The knives are already being sharpened for Theresa unless she gets an hefty majority. Just to think that they pay millions to some foreigner to come up with their election strategy. I would be asking for a refund.

Imagine if the Tories have three different leaders during Corbyn's time as Labour leader.whereeaglesfly wrote:The knives are already being sharpened for Theresa unless she gets an hefty majority.
