Yep. The exit poll predicted that. It was the only SNP seat on the BBC's third page to change hands.

Htaf can it be OK for TM to make a coalition with the Ulster unionists - who were nothing more than state sponsored terrorists? After everything that;s been said about JC and the IRA? beggars every single belief I've ever had.

Farron retained his seat. Which is a shame, that'd have been funny.

And the BBC have revised their forecast down from 322 to 318.

Surprising to see all these conservative seats appearing in Scotland. Looks like the SNP are having their mandate for another referendum slip away.

Hastings is sounding tight, on a full recount.

Full recount after a bundle recount was already conducted. I'll laugh my tits off if Amber Rudd lost her seat because of May.

Soubry is absolutely livid on the BBC right now. It's kind of refreshing since most MPs would talk much more diplomatically about their party and its leadership.

4 things of note

The shy voters were probably Labour voters this time

The UKIP voters didn't go to the Tories as expected

The sway Newspapers had is possibly on the wane as social media takes over

The kids are alright ;)

Rudd will keep insisting on a recount until the ballot papers are virtually translucent in the hope it comes out in her favour

Edit

Which she just has

It probably did mostly go to the Tories. But i expect the Exit Poll to show that youth turnout was far higher than either of the previous two elections.

It seemed to depend on the seat. It appeared to go more tory in leave areas and vice versa.

The right-wing in both America and the UK is seems have a talent for getting the working classes to vote against their own interests by preying upon their fears.

I'd assume that was the redistribution of UKIP votes. Labour probably also went up in those areas.
