Just to add to this, it's now popping up on other sites too. Might be an idea to reinstall chrome and clear cookies etc and see if that helps.

Assume this isn't happening on iPhone users with safari?

I had a repeating iphone pop-up last night telling me that I had been chosen for a prize from British Telecommunications. Is this related? It didn't come up on any other sites.

I'm thankfully not getting any.

One positive (and I don't know how many others were encountering the same problem) I'm no longer being logged out every time I go on to UTC or sometimes whilst already on the site and logged in.

It's happens at least three times now where for two or three weeks running, I'm automatically logged out. Is a fix put in place or does the issue just sort itself?
