I've said on a previous thread that I don't understand why people get so mad, fans have no control over what Burnley FC does. Its like getting mad at a soap opera or WWE wrestling. Its ultimately pointless. So I don't understand what that YouTube fella is thumping the table over.

Like all fans, he knows nothing. He thinks getting players is as simple as going to a shop and buying one. Probably doesn't appreciate that we are still in negotiations with players since last Christmas, or players are on holiday, or other clubs are waiting for their business to conclude.

In the last window we spent over £20m, it would've been £30m if the Grosiki deal had gone through - and we will spend more this window because we have players to replace in Boyd, Barton and Keane (and the likes of Marney and Arfield as well). But just step back and think about that. We broke our incoming transfer record 3 times in one season!

I don't understand what he thinks the transfer policy should be? Is it to just spunk money up the wall as soon as the window opens?

Ha Ha I wish I was then I wouldn't have seen the 80s and parts of the 90s. In my opinion he is the best I could be wrong of course, Barry Kilby probably comes a close second as he steadied the ship and started the journey we are on.

I don't know if he still does, but he certainly used to work at Boundary Mill.

He was known to staff there as a bit "special".
