Some troll(s), attempting to troll anti-fascists, spread rumours that Antifa protesters are going to rally at Gettysburg to desecrate the graves of Confederate soldiers. (there aren't any marked graves of Confederate soldiers at Gettysburg but that fact escaped the far-right fools)

The Gateway Pundit push the fake news story. Breitbart push the fake news story. Fox News push the fake news story. So anti-Antifa idiots turn up to counter a protest that never existed, and one of them accidentally shoots themselves.

Actual fascists, like the Ku Klux Klan (who turned up to this farcical demo), and over here people like the BNP, EDL and Britain First.

I've proudly stood with Antifa at counter-demos, and will do in the future. Our grandparents in the Second World War were Antifascists, it's only fair we continue to fight for them.

Buzzfeed also have a story about how NPR (a publicly funded radio channel often referred to as "liberal") tweeted out the entire Declaration of Independence and some Trump supporters got really angry because they perceived it as propaganda.

Buzzfeed might not be an organisation to take too seriously for serious news, but they do this kind of fun story pretty well.

In fairness anything remotely perceived as 'Anti-American' is unpatriotic. They are quite literally the most patriotic people for a country which has actually achieved very little. Kudos for the optimism!

It's somewhat ironic that they're craying against the document that made them a country, on the anniversary fo the day it was declared.
They also took particular offence at a section that said "A Prince whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people", which is funny.

The deeper irony is that they didn't gain independence until September 1783, but in true American form. They never let the truth get in the way of a good story
