Simmons was a director in the mid-80s for two years or so. He wasn't involved with the Teasdale Out protests.

And took part in the mini demo after a game were we chanted "we're w**k, and its cos of Frank"

I'm sure as a result of that, Mars Bars or Snickers (Same company anyway) had a competition going. Open the wrapper to find out if you've won type thing.
Anyway. If you lost, it said something along the lines of

"SORRY YOU HAVE NOT WON THIS TIME, BUT IT COULD BE WORSE, YOU COULD SUPPORT BURNLEY"
