Nacer Chadli

Post by cricketfieldclarets » Mon Aug 14, 2017 9:48 am

Wba ready to let him move with Swansea interested as a Suggurdson replacement.

Would be a fantastic signing for us. Class out wide or behind the front man. Has the pace and creativity we need to add.

Cost WBA 13M from Spurs.

Too much flair for a Pulis team perhaps.

Could be a number of reasons....that's what I'm wondering.

I agree, he's being allowed to leave for a reason and that reason could well be because he DOES have talent, but that talent has been rather overrated IMO and he produces it when he's in the mood. Not one for SD I feel.

He was left out of the WBA pre-season tour after an argument with Pulis

A few seasons ago he was one of the best players in the Premier League. So I guess the question would be down to his consistency. If we could get him back to the player he was, and has shown he can be, he would be an immense sigining for us. A risk though.

There is always going to be something with a player we are signing. Dyche is the man who is capable of sorting whatever taht something is. Whether its attitude, fitness, or a combination.

True. I think his best position is attacking central midfield - a playmaker type role. Perhaps similar to Defour. Very good vision, skillful, and a good passer. He could also do a job upfront, I think.

Bugger the wages.
Maybe he'll take a cut?
Maybe it's just a new challenge he's after?

Refused to go on a pre season boot camp in Austria I believe because he didn't fancy all the running. Definitely wouldn't be Mr Dyche's cup of tea.

Also read that 5an starts were not Chadli's idea of fun.

Would be a quality signing as I feel he's one of those players who enjoys playing somewhere he is loved by the fans.

My brother in law is a spurs fan and praises him a lot. A midfield duo of Chadli/D4 would be very very special IMO.

Probably wont happen though.
