Playing against 10 men again!

Post by tjgh25 » Sat Aug 19, 2017 7:32 pm

As the topic subject suggests, does anybody know when was the last time we played against 10 men in our two opening fixtures of a season?

Apologise if this has been asked anywhere else just a bit curious.

I can remember us ending with 10 men first two games of the season in 2002.

Arthur Gnohere got sent off in the opening match at home to Brighton. Next match was Wolves away, never an easy match at the best of times. Paul Cook got himself sent off inside first ten minutes leaving the rest of the match an exercise in damage limitation. Finished 0-3.

Fair play right_winger probably should have phrased my question better!

And Claret1205 thanks, for that reminder! The mere mention of Arthur Gnohere defending sends shivers down my spine.

But his attacking sends shivers down the spine at those at Deepdale! :D
