England or Ireland?
I'm English, I have also got to the point (as have many), were watching England is a chore more than anything. If I bother at all.
My question is, if England and Ireland were playing at the same time, who would you watch considering our many Irish players.
For me I would rather watch 4 Burnley players play for Ireland (assuming Heats is benched) than England.
What about you lot?

I don't watch England because it's a chore, I watch it because I like footy and want us to do well. To answer though, England.

Ireland - and you shouldn't have to ask why after the first thirty minutes v Slovakia........
I'd just be more interested in seeing how the Burnley lads performed than our national shower of well, you know what.

It amazes me that England pretty much fill Wembley for these qualifiers. I doubt I'd bother turning up even with a free ticket.

To answer the question: Ireland, given the Burnley contingent and the tougher battle to qualify.

Two screens bc iam english and irish
Re: England or Ireland?
Ireland.
I can't bring myself to care about England any more. The team is full of players I really don't like when we play against them.
But there are plenty of Irish players I'll cheer for.

It doesn't matter if the first half was utter dross. I'm English, so its England, however annoyed and frustrated it makes me.
2nd half was a hell of a lot better though

I think I'd watch any Burnley player in an international over watching England.
And if there weren't any playing I'd stick the Relentless DVD on.

Neither, outside of major tournaments all International football is crap. Just look at some of the comments on here. Plus everyone knows in advance what's going to happen.

both shite to watch.
Re: England or Ireland?
Great that it is that Burnley has so many players representing Ireland, it's a question that an Englishman shouldn't even ask.

Re: England or Ireland?
Not sure what's weird about preferring to watch a team which attacks with spirit and verve and contains at least three Burnley lads rather than the turgid stuff England typically dished up in their opening thirty minutes. Even when they perked up,it was hard to care.
ROI aren't good enough but at least they're worth watching.
