He could've cost us in the first half but he didn't. Instead he played a massive contribution in our victory. Sky sports summed his performance up well:
' A man mountain at the heart of the Burnley back four. Ably assisted by Mee, the former Brentford man stepped into the shoes vacated by Michael Keane to keep quiet Benteke. The centre-back made 18 clearances in the match, which is the most by a player in a Premier League game this season.'

Agreed, at this rate Palace might score before Christmas.

Most clearances from a defender in the Prem since December last year (18). Very good today I thought he's an absolute beast, he won't lose out on many tussles this year!

Not helped by Martina at right back who had an absolute mare. Couldn't help watching Keane in one of those goals and thinking 'that wouldn't have happened at Burnley'. Looked decidedly statuesque, which is unusual for Keane.

Dead on there, he was caught in two minds quite often as the full back went missing and he tried to cover the all too often gap forming.

That would make a brilliant flag/banner.

I agree 100%. Mee played a dodgy ball to Cork about 10 seconds earlier and Cork just managed to get the ball under control and pass it back to Mee. Then Mee plays an absolute horror pass straight across the back 4 to Tarky who was under pressure. Yes Tarky should have just put his boot through the ball but you can't ignore the dreadful pass from Mee. His distribution has always been suspect but that pass was inexplicable. If you played CB for an under 11's team you wouldn't get away with a pass like that.
I thought Tarky and Cork were outstanding and Lowton wasn't far behind. The rest were very m'eh.

Apparently he's eligible for the Poland team. Wonder if he'll get a call up?

I thought Mee did the headed interceptions which thwarted most of their potential, before they got started. My mom although Tarkowski and the backs did brilliantly too.
