Re: leeds
Don't forget they had at least 15,000 at Turf Moor Boxing Day 1982. What a bloody joke!

Thread title: Leeds
Once again it degenerates into petty Burnley/Blackburn attendance squabbles.
It's pretty embarrassing.

Re: leeds
Leeds are doing a beam back to Elland Rd for any fans not able to get tickets for Turf Moor. We should of given them as many as they could sell.

Re: leeds
I had a glass bottle purposely thrown at my feet by a Leeds United fan as a 10/11 year old who was shopping with his mum and brother (approx 9 at the time) in Burnley town centre after a match.
I wasn't even on that day. Still remember it vividly and seeing police horses for running down the street for the first time. The scariest moment in my young life at the time.

My mate got started on by a Leeds fan after we'd beat them 2-1 in the last minute. We'd not long since took David batty off them, and the Leeds fan enquired to my pal as to whether he liked the player. Really funny.

I can see that would be classed as entertainment in BlackburnSaxoman wrote:My mate got started on by a Leeds fan after we'd beat them 2-1 in the last minute. We'd not long since took David batty off them, and the Leeds fan enquired to my pal as to whether he liked the player. Really funny.

Re: leeds
Weeds fans very very bitter about Wood and Taylor leaving for us which makes the game even spicier.
And for us Yorkies over the border surrounded by that deluded lot who really do think they are the biggest team on the planet it's bigger than Burnley Blackburn for us.

I must admit, I do dislike them alot more than b@stards. I also took more delight in seeing them go down to the third tier too.CHEWBACCA wrote:Weeds fans very very bitter about Wood and Taylor leaving for us which makes the game even spicier.

Re: leeds
Their relegation to the 3rd tier cheered me up no end when I was in hospital following a bad motorcycle crash. I was whooping with delight in the TV room of Whipp's Cross Hospital.Foshiznik wrote:I must admit, I do dislike them alot more than b@stards. Re: leeds
Had a heated arguement with a fat un with a fat missus on holiday on the beach, he walked past & said your one of those masturbaters from Burnley, which i agreed with & thought well now it comes to insults yippy doo! He & his sister looked a sad fat pair of individuals with comments off hand to mouth disesase ringing in his ears rolling his straw mat up & making a hasty exit. Always have & always will have a dislike of them. There was some serious sparring near the bus station 2 or 3 years ago between big groups of Burnley & Leeds which was talked about on the internet with them complaining we were worse than Millwall.

Re: leeds
When it comes to Leeds, we always need to put our feet on their throats.
Re: leeds
£20 per ticket, £3.33 is VAT, we get 40% approx of the rest - if we sold 2,000 extra tickets, that makes about £13k. Less people who have bought tickets in our part of the Cricket Field stand and wouldn't have bought them to sit somewhere else.Quickenthetempo wrote:Leeds are doing a beam back to Elland Rd for any fans not able to get tickets for Turf Moor.
