The only surviving member of TRex is Bill Legend. Both he and Mickey Finn had their own versions of TRex with little success.

Steve Peregrine Took the original percussionist had more success as a member of The Pink Fairies with Twink but died in 1980.

Bang-a-Gong was the only T Rex song that ever charted over here. Most people know T Rex, and definitely know that song, but have no idea who Marc Bolan was.

He basically chopped up a load of Incredible String Band-esque lyrics and added a load of reverb. It does the thing, though.

A 13 year old Marc Feld was allowed by fifties rocker Eddie Cochran to carry his guitar to his limousine. Cochran later met his death in the car. Feld changed his name to Marc Bolan and he also died in a car crash.

Dave Dee of Dave Dee Dozy Beaky Mick and Titch was the first person on the scene of the car crash, which killled Eddie Cochran: he was a young police officer.
