city away pubs

Anywhere near the etihad that is away fan friendly? Will be driving down from Scotland and parking near the ground without going anywhere near the City Centre.

Not seen the Clarets at the Etihad but know the area well through work. It's not particularly salubrious around the ground and what pubs there are will be rougher than Tarzan's feet. There is a fan zone at the ground or another alternative is parking near Ashton Moss off M60 and getting the tram in. There's a big JW Lees pub (Lord Sheldon I think it's called) or Village Hotel not far from park and ride / tram stop.

Walking distance from town centre and if you’ve driven all the way from Sweaty sock land you will need to stretch your wee legs
