Chelsea v Watford

Post by ClaretAndJew » Sat Oct 21, 2017 1:41 pm

Watford just gone 2-1 up away to Chelsea, against 11 men.

Not doing our victory there a discredit, but, Watford are going to get all the plaudits this year if they keep this up, and deservedly so.

Marco Silva is clearly a manager on the up and up.

Very good manager, Watford would do very well if they manage to hold onto him next year.

should have been 1-3 in reality with their 2nd goal and another great chance for them.

Playing well indeed and Chelsea should just had a man sent off.

Just watched the last 5 minutes and if anything Watford look more likely to go 3-1 up than Chelsea are to equalise.

Looks like sacking your striker by text has cost him as they look woeful up top.

I'm surprised so many had Watford to go down at the start of the season. Silva improved the way Hull played and you could just tell that had he been appointed earlier in the season he'd have kept them up.

Hull were atrocious away from home last season, even with Silva in charge. Yes, he improved their home form, but away they looked shambolic.

A tad premature perhaps with my plaudit of this game, but take nothing away from Watford, sensational this season. I envisage a top 12 finish for both us and them though.

I just saw something in him then that you didn't. You could tell what he was trying to do and it's now paying off with Watford. Hull's loss.

Been a good game to watch.
Watford impress. The Arsenal result wasn't a one off.

If it stays like this then at least it will stop that boring pretend Burnley fan coming on here and obsessing over Marco Silva.

They would've won that with an English manager.

Wonderful display, remarkable football and desperately unlucky. Went toe to toe no respect for the Champions.
