Dyche Team - Incredible!
Dyche Team - Incredible!
There are so many thing I could say about Dyche but the most impressive is his ability to learn and develop. When he took over there were defensive issues, he sorted them. We then had scoring issues, he sorted them. We then had corner issues, hes sorted them and it goes on and on one step at a time bit by bit improving and learning.
Last nights performance was the best I have seen at Premier level for organisation, possession, calmness on the ball and getting the ball back, pressing and overall intelligent football, fantastic to see.
We are now probably two players away from a top eight team challenging for cups and Europa and this could happen next season realistically because the rate at which this team is learning and developing it will happen.
Dyche and his team are do 'Fergie' type work, slowly replacing players with better players, keeping to a philosophy of respect and honesty and living by values that are not about football, they're about human values, local values, and being moral and decent.
This guy is a true leader and should actually be in government, not football, but one step at a time.
I don't believe he will take the Everton job IMO, nor should he, there is no gain as far as I can see, he could be sacked in 4 months if they are still bottom three and then what?
Jamie Carrager may be being paid to destroy what's being built in Burnley by pushing Dyche on Everton, the premier league don't like small teams doing well and Dyche is too wise and decent to fall for the temptation IMO.
Dyche and this team are on the verge of greatness, he knows it and he wont being giving that up anytime soon, hopefully.

Logged on just to like this Claret82. Very well put.
Just be careful of the haters on here. It's why I and many others do not bother anymore.
Again, excellently put.

If Dyche leaves we'll regret it immediately
IMO
If he goes he'll regret it in six months
I think we are unique as a club at the higher levels of English football and I think very few men could pull off what Dyche has with our little club, but even fewer clubs would've allowed him the freedom to achieve his way.
Look what they've done to Keane in 10 games, he's a shadow of his own shadow.
Everton may expect Dyche to make good of Koemans Team, to prove himself with limited, relatively, funds, then give 140 million to the next over hyped foreign manager they replace him with in the summer.
A pairing made in heaven, Burnley FC and Sean Dyche, hearts a beating all over town
Toff of Everton

Burnley is a small town team in football terms.
However, Burnley is a founder member of the otiginalfootball league still playing at its original ground. It is a football town and steeped in history.
Mr Dyche gets it. He is the Ginger Miraculous One and a legend in the making.
He should stay and football should be grateful for Burnley.

Re: Dyche Team - Incredible!
A proper football club in a proper footballing town (and when I say "in" the town I mean in!), still in touch with its roots and its history, with a proper manager holding genuine values, being run properly by decent people with the interests of the club at heart, within its means, according to its income, one step at a time, with one eye on the future, competing with much bigger fish on a very uneven playing field, but adhering to what they believe in and actually showing other clubs there is a different way to succeed (actually a somewhat old fashioned way) which ultimately might just make any success all the sweeter because of the way it's been achieved. I feel rather proud, not just of WHAT we have achieved, but far more importantly, the WAY we have achieved it and an awful lot of that is down to SD.

Re: Dyche Team - Incredible!
mmh replying to myself but there are some parallels to draw with Grayson leaving PNE, a team striving for the Premier League on the up in general terms where a play off would be deemed a successful progression but Grayson left for free fall Sunderland because they were a bigger club. big money better squad Promotion a pre requisite to his long term future there and 6 months on he's sacked.BleedingClaret wrote:If Dyche leaves we'll regret it immediately
