I'm not going again until Bob Lord fully explains why Jimmy Mac was sold.

Re: stay away fans over the years
I had this conversation with the lads and I never thought I would think like this. I loved being in the championship, playoffs, realistic goals that end in reward and the what felt like guaranteed impressive wins, the lads being able to play with style and confidence.
Sounds odd but the Premier League will stop me going, I don't know what is left now, the thought of becoming another Stoke City, working hard grinding our results with little flair season in season out would bore me to tears.
I told a villa fan when they got relegated it was best thing to happen to them in years, now they can compete, aim for something and enjoy football again, what is sad is the goal is to get back to the premier league where they will be once again be mid to lower table year in year out.
The premier league offers cash and lots of it, it will ultimately be it's downfall.

Re: stay away fans over the years
I have been a season ticket holder since the 99/00 season (talk about choosing a good start?!).
Since then when I would have been 12/13 my life has changed immeasurably. I live a hundred odd miles away, have a 3 month old daughter etc. However, I still have my season ticket and the only circumstance that would drive me to get rid would be if the finances didn't work out etc.
I come over from Derbyshire not just for Burnley FC, it's to see my Mum and Dad, it's to see my mates from my hometown of Todmorden, it's to get my hair cut in Jazzmans.
It's to be back in Lancashire.
