The great man has spoken.....

Post by 50 shades of Grey » Wed Nov 29, 2017 10:20 pm

Sean Dyche:
''I was very pleased, we wanted to be on the front foot, there was no hangover from Sunday. We were dominant, we hit the bar, made the keeper work and scored a fine goal.
Where we are in the league, everyone will be surprised by that. I see the players work all the time and have great belief in this squad.''

The great man has spoken. Only fools chose not to listen.

I saw a picture of Him in my toast this morning.

I've nailed it to the wall.

MIke --yes-- they are correct and but for a couple of refereeing decisions it could have been even better!
This time last season we had 14 points and had conceded 23 goals and were in 14th place. Manchester United were in 6th with 21 points and a similar goal difference to ours today.

It has really been an amazing journey with Sean and his staff and the transformation in our football over these 5 years has been a joy to watch. I suppose the season so far has been like Sean's first full season with the predictions turned on their heads.

Yes Ashington, I make it we are 11 pts better than the first 14 games last year, 11pts better than the first 7 home and 7 away and a massive 17pts better in the equivalent fixtures (ie team for team)
