Stoke manager Mark Hughes: "Don't tell me that anyone says Burnley deserved to win that, because they didn't. The lads are devastated, they didn't deserve that.
"We'll be OK, we're fine. We are working hard to try and turn this around but I am encouraged by what I've seen tonight.
"Burnley play on percentages, they hope something will drop for them and they are making a habit of it."

He's right we are making a habit of winning when we make something drop for us.
It happens too often to be luck. 17 games in, the points earned cannot all be down to luck.

We deserved a point against Arsenal and didn't get one. Is what it is - at least it wasn't a referee who decided it with a bad decision for a change

The Guardian (in summing up) say.
After an injured Zouma had to be replaced by Wimmer, Dyche swapped Jeff Hendrick for Barnes. This proved a masterstroke as he fired the ball past Butland for what, in the end, felt the right result.
It was just a shame that only 19,909 were here to witness this slice of Burnley history.

If managers and whoever think we play percentages and it’s down to luck, then good. It means they haven’t got a clue how we are winning games.

"That's what you expect here. You don't expect pretty football, or good patterns of play, you expect long balls."
I'm not being funny, but if that's what you expect at Turf Moor these days you will (for the most part) go home with nowt.

Sparky wants more 'compassion ' from referee. WTF is he on about.
Apparently his forwards played really well also. Comedy gold from Sparky.

Hughes on BBC: (my words) Our big CHs were dealing with everything they threw at us. Burnley kept throwing on forwards - and then they scored.
Yes, Mark, that's the idea of the game....score goals and you win. Think you used to do this at OT.

What the **** are you bleating about you tiresome mouth breathing virgin? Football isn’t won and lost based on who deserves what, it’s won and lost based on one team achieving the objective - scoring more goals than the other.
If you want to watch sport which is decided by a non binary scoring system, go and watch gymnastics, diving or horse dressage.

How many times did Man United under Alex Ferguson win games at the end when they didn't deserve to.
Including That Champions League win against Bayern Munich - it happens in football.
West Germany didn't deserve to beat Hungary in 1954 but it happened.

To be fair, I'm not sure either team deserved anything from the game, it was awful.
In fact I don't think I've seen a game as bad since Boro last season, which we also won 1-0. Funny that...

There was no injustice tonight though. We got the rub of the green, for the 9th time this season, because we outworked the opposition. Pope was never troubled, But land was troubled once and wasn't up to it. C'est la vie.
