RE post 46
I've never come across that site before, it's got a lot of stats on there; just found it and put in my favourites & will explore the depth of the data/methodology
Re the touches question, it gives: Bards 64, Long 60, Tarks 65, ward 22 (Taylor 29), Gud 52, Defour 78, Cork 60, Arf 45, Hend 29, Wood 26,
It gives player ratings and our top scores are Tarks 8.6, Arf 7.8, Long 7.6, Defour=Pope=7.4;
Stokes top ones: Zouma 7.6, Shawcross=Crouch= 7.3

Re: Burnley v Stoke - Player Ratings
Pope 7 - Solid and good handling when required on a very greasy surface
Bardsley 7
Tarkowski 9 - special mention to the leader of this back 4. He was technically playing with 3 reserve defenders last night in awful conditions and was absolutely imperious.
Long 7
Ward 6
JBG 6
Defour 8
Cork 7
Hendrick 6
Arfield 6
Wood 6
Taylor 7
Barnes 8
I was quite critical at half time as we didn't play well at all - passes seemed lazy and touches were poor...but it was quite evident come the end of the game that the conditions were horrific and it was probably more about digging in and not getting beat. The fact we got a little slice of luck and won the game makes it even sweeter!
