Re: Dyche has to go
KRBFC and people of a similar disposition will come back out of the woodwork as soon as we hit a rough patch. They can't appreciate that success is often not a constant upward curve but a series of setbacks followed by progression over a period of time, and real support is understanding this and giving the club (and manager) your backing during the tough spells. It's almost certain if we'd gone with the knee jerk option in 2016 and sacked Dyche after our tubbing at Hull we wouldn't have achieved what we have done since.

That and for a bit of fun, which I'm assuming is allowed?

Re: Dyche has to go
There have been times when Dyche's methodology has become annoying, when given the resources and his abilities he could have done better.
Sometimes I don't think he realises just how good he could be if he released the inner Clough, allowing his players a little more freedom to express themselves.
He has progressed, if at a slower rate than some of us hoped for, but there's still a lot more challenges ahead of him and he can become a much much better manager.

Be fair here KRBFC has not disappeared -he has in fact been quite active, spoken about how much happier he is with what he is seeing and been prepared to take the knocks about posts like this - I have not often agreed with him and like you encouraged him to exercise patience and in the end that is what a lot of this is about - patienceSammyBoy wrote:KRBFC and people of a similar disposition will come back out of the woodwork as soon as we hit a rough patch. Sometimes I despair at what you write, sometimes I think you are just attention seeking, sometimes I think you don't have a clue. And then you write this complete rubbish.ablueclaret wrote:There have been times when Dyche's methodology has become annoying, when given the resources and his abilities he could have done better.

I agree he has stuck around and seems somewhat happier but I'm certain he'll be the first posting reactionary comments should we go through a spell where we don't get the rub of the green (which lets face it, we inevitably will at some stage).Chester Perry wrote:Be fair here KRBFC has not disappeared -he has in fact been quite active, spoken about how much happier he is with what he is seeing and been prepared to take the knocks about posts like this - I have not often agreed with him and like you encouraged him to exercise patience and in the end that is what a lot of this is about - patience

I wish ABC would improve as quick as SD has. Had he done so, his posts would be worth reading by now instead of being the bellend he always has been.

Do you apply the same sort of know-it-all incisive critique to your own career and life, Ablue?

I’d love to see you read your posts to Sean.

I'm quite sure SD takes absolutely no notice of anything said on here, and only values the opinions of those in the game. We are just fans voicing our opinions.

Re: Dyche has to go
Do remember Ronnie Clayton and Bryan Douglas but Blackburn never been of any interest to me. Started as a Bristol City fan , first match against Liverpool with Billy Liddell.
Then visited Nelson and was taken to Turf Moor by my dad who had been a Burnley fan along with supporting Sunderland since his boyhood and time at Burnley Grammar.
From then on followed the club through thick and thin, initially also interested in Carlisle and Crewe, (Hugh McIlmoyle was a favourite) but by my late teens was only following the Clarets and have done for the next 50 years.

How you cannot see we are in age punching above our weight. That's come about because of our manager. No one is perfect but his mistakes are minor.
Whilst I see minor issues, the overall positives out way them.

Re: Dyche has to go
ABC focuses mainly on the negatives and it must be driving them mad that we are 5th and pretty much safe from relegation already.
Re: Dyche has to go
Pretty happy to look like a clueless idiot because we must be doing well. Old news, I already held my hands up a long long time ago.
Re: Dyche has to go
A post made on the 2nd of Feb on this very thread by myself....
"I stated my opinion at the time and for the stupid comments made at the time I will hold my hands up and admit i'm an idiot with an idiotic opinion but it's easy to look back with hindsight, I stand by certain points I made (the football away from home was horrific at the time) but we've improved away from home since. Other points I made like ''we should get rid of Dyche to give us the best chance at survival'' have been proven to be absolute delusional OTT bullcrap"
I don't understand why losers continue bumping old threads, quite weird.

Re: Dyche has to go
Another one from me at the end of Jan....
"over 8000 views, I'm impressed!!!!
I'm a doubter, I always have doubted us. I guess that's part of being a Burnley fan for me, I doubted us at Wembley, I doubted we'd win automatic promotion last season until it was mathematically possible and the exact same the promotion before. I doubted we would win the 3 games at home over the Christmas period (thought we'd pick up around 4 points, law of averages kind of thing), I doubted we would pick up points away from home and ultimately I doubted Dyche would keep us up. It's easy to look back with hindsight but ultimately I was wrong and I will happily eat the humble pie and look like an absolute worrying negative idiot."

you did - stop apologising move on (hopefully others will let you) and like most of us as we get older and have more to reflect on, just be a little more patient - your a claret - enjoy the ride, you have been lucky in your life to have missed the real lows many here have experienced following the clarets but that is not your fault, more good fortune really.KRBFC wrote:Pretty happy to look like a clueless idiot because we must be doing well.
