Keane/Allardyce
sorry if this has already been discussed but just wondered if Keanes form might improve once he gets back in the team under the new manager....lets face it, you can say what you like about fat Sam but he does know how to set a defence up just like our Sean can.....I like Keane as a person and really hop[e he gets back on track....utc.
Re: Keane/Allardyce
As I've said previous, I think he will. Reckon he'll be a threat from set pieces too.

Re: Keane/Allardyce
If he doesn`t get back on track, do we think that if Tarkowski`s form continues, he could force his way into Southgate`s thinking?
Re: Keane/Allardyce
Only on the bench and Jagielka came on to make 3 cb. 4th choice?

Or Sam has taken him out of the firing line whilst things settle down.
He hasn't turned into a crap defender, his confidence is possibly shot though after playing with that rabble.

Re: Keane/Allardyce
He left us an England international. Now he warms the bench for his club side, 4th choice behind the ageing , slow, Williams and Jagielka.
In contrast his understudy looks superb and must be under serious consideration for Keane's slot for Russia.
Funny ol' game.
I said last year he'd (Keane) be better staying put for at least another season. Maybe others who may have their head turned in the future might think more carefully before engaging "agent".

Re: Keane/Allardyce
I think Jagielka is an excellent cb personally....the pressure of his price tag and playing in a team that did not have a clue did Keane no favours at all...he will bounce back but I dont think he is as good as Tarks who has the physical presence to be as good as he wants to be....utc.

Re: Keane/Allardyce
Probably to the surprise of a few people on here, Keane has done well today.
Apparently he isn't rubbish and with a manager who knows how to set up his team with a framework the Everton team are playing well overall.
Shocking news I know.

It's like the Alamo. Everton missing Rooney. He would be holding the ball up and bringing others into play. Without him they can't keep the ball.

Man of the match today. Looked very solid from what i've seen. Good player. Should have scored the winner then.

Re: Keane/Allardyce
What was the purpose of Sandro up front for Everton ?
Stealing a wage on today's performance - nothing at all stuck with him.
