Always thought that he was a Gem with real potential.
Last weekend, and again today, he has shown what a horrible little sh!t he really is. Someone needs to grip him. For the sake of Spurs and England, that needs to be his manager !

I start to get angry about things like this and players like Alli then just think 'what's the point?' This is what football is these days (at the top level anyway) and there's nothing that getting angry can do to change that.
If it wasn't for Burnley I simply wouldn't watch football anymore.

not certain how you conclude he is an obnoxious cheat for a start, secondly, you know for a fact Barnes regularly throws himself about and tries to claim for penalties.
Should he occasionally get one by cheating I would put money on you saying nothing about it at all.

Re: Dele Alli
Alli can play but prefers to cheat. 10 times the player of Barnes. He doesn’t need to do it. He’s got the lot but spoils it by being an anal grape.
Re: Dele Alli
I think the ref was the same one that sent Deeney off last week. One rule for the 'big 6' and another rule for the rest.

the fact you didnt acknowledge my point about barnes doing the same thing, makes your criticism invalid.Wile E Coyote wrote:not certain how you conclude he is an obnoxious cheat for a start, secondly, you know for a fact Barnes regularly throws himself about and tries to claim for penalties.

Re: Dele Alli
His clever deceiving of refs gets his team results. At the end of the season when Spurs may play European football, will the manager or their fans be bothered how Alli conned refs (in not just our game) into gaining them enough points to qualify. The manager won't be, because he may even have kept him in a job and the club gain Millions from his cheating rewards.
We just keep being honest little Burnley, who stand proud of not cheating in games, but being poorer for it, which could cost us enjoying a taste of European football again and possibly losing millions into the bargain.

Barnes is a cheat. Not defending him. Alli though has the lot. He doesn’t need to cheat he chooses to cheat. He is a tick turd.

Re: Dele Alli
Without any doubt if we got offered that obnoxious little chap free of charge, I’d want us to turn it down. Life is too short to sacrifice all your principles just to win a football match. We don’t tolerate that here. Most of us anyway. That’s to our huge credit.
Let’s be frank, we’ve seen him do this dozens of times, it isn’t a one off.
If he worked as hard on his game as he obviously does his diving, he would be world class. Luckily, Tottenham have Kane who does work that hard. I’d have him in a heartbeat.

not really, but the double standards here are too much, I have yet to hear anything bad said if a favourable decision went our way, we don't berate the officials then do we? Just pass over it and move on.
When diving is so topical though, it would pay dividends to be equally ruthless. If that's what it takes to stay in games .
