"Burnley must be pretty good ........"

Post by Bullabill » Sat Dec 30, 2017 4:56 am

So said my wife who neither knows nor cares anything about football, and has absolutely no idea why I have to sit up until 4am to watch the mighty Clarets. "Why do you say that"? ---- "I just heard on the news that they made a draw with Manchester United" !!

Sensing a glimmer of interest I countered with "Yes, and if Sam Vokes hadn't been given offside and Man U. hadn't scored in added time ....... ", but her eyes were glazing over and she returned to washing the dishes.

After watching the the recent Liverpool away game on SBS (Aus tv), she commented "Burnley are really good". She was referring to those in the red shirts!

Moving to Rockhampton tomorrow

What’s the best way to watch Burnley on tv/internet in Australia?
Do any groups of Burnley fans ever meet up in Any of the big cities for a game?

My missus has zero interest. I always announce the result to the whole family in the morning and the best I can hope for from her is a, let`s say sarcastic, "WONDERFUL".

An Optus mobile phone account above a certain value gives access to all matches, otherwise live streaming or replays via Footballorgin or the like.
