Barnes v Duff for Burnley's best value signing?
I'd say Duff just shades it at 35k, but 350k for Barnes increasingly looks to be one of the signings of our modern era

I might be wrong, but didn’t we pay a fee for Heaton?

So what?CHEWBACCA wrote:And we signed Hendrick for 10 million plus, scary, very scary!
We signed Wells for £5 million. Man City signed John Stones for £50 million and he isn't the best centre half in the Prem.
Harry Kane cost Spurs nothing. It doesn't mean that a player with a big price tag should automatically be the best player. It's just what it cost us at that time.

Duff. With the exception of Tom Heaton, the single best bit of business done by ANY football club, EVER.
We don't know yet if the £5m Wells fee has been wasted. We DO know how the Hendrick fee is looking though, don't we?

Hendrick is shite, that's what and he cost us a record breaking transfer fee compared to Barnes and Duff who have been fantastic servants for next to nothing in todays terms.Spijed wrote:So what?

Heaton or Duff, hands down.
Although Pope and Gudmundsson not far behind.
