In the OP's defence it's just an average job, so obviously not a 'look at me' type threads.

Don't worry Grimsby, School Caretaker is perfectly fine by me.
I sadly thought Road Sweeper had also gone by the way, but it's nice to see proper jobs with proper names.

I'm an actor and a bit of a writer. Working on a radio play with BBC4, hoping for a commission soon.

But I might pack it all in because I came up with the name Turf More for Clarets Player and nothing will top that.

Also teach English online to kids in China.

Before I did this job I was a Design & Projects Engineer mainly working in R&D roles.

I have family down near you, and on our last visit to the beach there were lots of jellyfish washed up, a site/day the kids will never forget.

Lovely part of the country, and would move down myself if it wasn't for Burnley ( the team not so much the town )

Yes!

Very rubbery too.
Never seen one up close, never mind that many.

We had a Burnley v Spurs cricket match on the green near the shops.
Drew a crowd of around 20, we had a right laugh.

When I think of Dawlish it conjures up images of their big fat center forward. No idea why we played them in a friendly.

Spent last year in rockhampton, Australia. Will go back to join the other clarets down under next year.

Interestingly clarets in the community had coaching sessions all the way up the Queensland coast 2 weeks after I left. My kids missed out there. Hopefully they'll be back next year

Computer Programmer for a bank. Done a lot of stuff on their internet banking web site and mobile apps, plus lots of internal applications that staff use when servicing customers.

Have worked for the same company for 30 years.

Like my job but not keen on the company. Hate the thought of interviews and form filling even more than I dislike the company which is why I'm still here :D

It was all put together by Stan at the last moment to coincide with a boot camp experience, dibradio. We also played a team called Elmore just after the Dawlish game. And Dawlish went tits up a few years ago.

Well, I too was an RAF pilot from 87-2000 (joined 1984) on a couple of bug smashing Squadrons at Lyneham (joined 1984). Never made any waves, for or against, and left to join commercial as a Flt Lt. 17 years in, I've just been signed off as medically unfit to fly again due to a road traffic accident. Two prolapsed discs in my neck and constant pain, so now waiting for an insurance pay-out from the insurance company of my mate who rear-ended me. Not quite made my first million so, I too, wish I hadn't dicked around so much. It's a small world, but I'm glad I didn't have to carpet it. Our paths may have crossed, Sir, so I hope I offended you if they did! :D
