Hendrick
Are we being a tad harsh on this lad .playing a position he probably doesn't like but just doing a professional job as he can do.his natural place took by defour then Westwood maybe we shouldn't be so harsh

Him and westwood wernt up to scratch today but we won
Re: Hendrick
Think the treatment of Hendrick by some supporters and posters on here is very harsh. He might not be the best player to grace the claret and blue of Burnley, but he certainly isn't the worse. Seems to me that we like a " fall guy" at BFC and Hendrick is that man in some people's opinion. He is an unsung hero at times and is definitely not suited to the no. 10 role. That is not his fault and he works really hard but lacks confidence at times. Give the lad a break and get behind All Burnley players.

Re: Hendrick
Thought he was playing well when taken off - unlucky not to have an assist. However, once again the tactical switch was perfect.

I agree, but he's been a constistant starter in the best Burnley team of my generation.

Re: Hendrick
Hendrick helps us do what Dyche called 'The ugly stuff' and keep us in games.
There's no doubt Wood coming on fresh against tired legs & stressed opposition has been a contributor to his goals.

Re: Hendrick
Huge difference now Wood is fit and available.
Hendrick continues to to play a critical role keeping us competitive for the first hour - we can then introduce a genuine goal threat from the bench. Puts a whole different perspective on Hendrick's contribution. He may have dropped below the required levels once or twice but generally he's been much more consistent than some have given him credit for.

Re: Hendrick
I thought he did ok today
As said Dyche sets up to keep us in games
Now he starting to put on the right subs early enough to affect the game

Re: Hendrick
Important for some to have a scapegoat. Was in lanzarote airport when I checked the team and 21 replies to Chris Boden on Twitter when Hendrick was named in the team. Got to go up 2 up top apparently and attack them. Sounds like Dyche knows more than them.
The other week v soton he won a late corner at 1-0 up which was the best he could do , bloke a few seats down from me lost the plot screaming at Dyche to sub him. He should really have dropped his shoulder , beat 3 men and curled it into the top corner.
Perspective.

Re: Hendrick
Wood is turning in to our own baby face assassin from the bench. Kanchelskis worked for Fergie....

Re: Hendrick
It's people telling others to lay off him that starts the threads.
I personally think he gets let off lightly.
I would rather he weren't in the team but I know full well that Dyche will pick him no matter what.
Our opinions don't matter.
