It's only a bit of spit, imagine if he'd pinched his nose & said "you stink" He'd be a raging racist now.

Re: Jamie Carragher
Kirsty Gallacher got a 2 year drink driving ban. She is still on Sky Sports.
Abhorrent as spitting is, it's a damn sight less abhorrent that drink driving.
If Carragher is fired, it will appear that Sky don't share that view

Perhaps he'll be put on gardening leave for the rest of the season then return next season?

He's only mortified because he was caught.Healeywoodclaret wrote:Completely agree great pundit. I'm surprised he didn't realise he was being filmed. However big mistake and he accepts that. Unacceptable behaviour everyone agrees but he hasn't attacked someone with an axe and murdered them. He has never been shown in a bad light before and it's clear he is mortified.

Seen a few of his interviews and "apologies"... never have I seen someone so pathetically trying to hang on to their £1m salarytim_noone wrote:He's only mortified because he was caught.

Makes for some funny viewing.

Re: Jamie Carragher
Apparently police are speaking to the driver who filmed the incident: http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/43387013" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
He's told the Mirror that he's been getting death threats since the incident.

Re: Jamie Carragher
No, not perfect, those are your words not mine. I remember going to matches as a kid. I don't recall having a dad who was more interested in being famous for 15 minutes, rather than road safety. And I don't recall getting flemmed on by an ex footballer, whose salary doesn't allow him to treat the general public with anything other than utter contempt.Papabendi wrote:Every other country in the world is so perfect.
So not perfect, no, but certainly not getting any better.

Fans pis-sing on the Longside terrace
Bricks and darts getting lobbed over the terraces from away fans
Police beating the living sh-it out of fans
Running battles between fans every single week
Ooooh the good old days

Re: Jamie Carragher
So he gets a couple of months off then it's business as usual. What an absolute joke.
Re: Jamie Carragher
If Carragher gets sacked I'm sure there will be mock outrage if he then finds another similar job.beddie wrote:So he gets a couple of months off then it's business as usual. What an absolute joke.
Should people be permanently be unemployable if they make a similar mistake?

Re: Jamie Carragher
Because you described the UK as a "complete and utter f***wit of a fake failing country" . Now I'm no stranger to your part of the word, and I don't wish to sound unkind, but maybe a trip to your local optician might well be in order. To be honest, I'm pretty flabbergasted that someone in the Ukraine can describe the UK as a failing country.boiledclaret wrote:Yes, it's a bit behind the UK, feels like 1981.No, its good, why do you ask TF?
