Re: England fans giving England fans a bad name
They'll either get their heads kicked in when the Dutch ultras turn up, or they'll run away like they did in Marseille.
Re: England fans giving England fans a bad name
I briefly saw something on twitter which I quickly swiped through, looked like dicks chucking beer onto those on boat below. Embarrassing.
You see it on the concourse at away games, a load of bouncing around then throw their £4.50 pint of carling in the air. Can't get my head round it personally.

The problem is, it's exactly these kinds of bellends that the Hannover Ultras were looking for, and when they didnt find them, they decided to fight who was there

If they bump into some proper Dutch boys they wont need to wait that long. Chances are they wont as they will be long gone.NottsClaret wrote:Looking forward to seeing them do that in Stalingrad in the summer.

Re: England fans giving England fans a bad name
Why do we (not us directly here, but these and similar morons) think that England are really hard?
The majority of us are unhealthy, overweight, unfit and unable to fight. We're actually soft as **** compared to most other citizens of other countries.

Imagine revelling in the fact that you’ve probably ruined someone’s boat trip as well as sinking someone’s bike.
How is that even remotely amusing.
It’ll be some poor innocent English fan later on that gets a beating as a result.
Well done lads.

The culture and years of violence at football.ClaretAndJew wrote:Why do we (not us directly here, but these and similar morons) think that England are really hard?

The same culture that society has worked hard to get rid of yet some people yearn for the good old days.
As for non football, years of taking our culture abroad ie drinking, shagging and fighting like they would at the weekend makes some people think they're tough.

Re: England fans giving England fans a bad name
Just lots of young lads on the ale and weed in Amsterdam It’l nearly always end in a bit of low end bellendery regardless of nationality with a weekend fixture in the Dam. No need for the tools chucking ale at the boat though ,fecking stupid .
The Dutch have never been interested in fisticuffs at national level, which is perhaps just as well with these clueless monkeys .

Re: England fans giving England fans a bad name
I went to watch Israel vs England in Tel Aviv probably in about 1988.
The West Ham fans started off by booing and making monkey noises at John Barnes.
Then started attacking the police.
Then started attacking the other England fans.
All pretty pathetic really.
I don't understand the lads in the clip? They're not actually getting involved in any sort of confrontation with like minded people. They're just throwing beer at what looks like tourists on a boat trip.
Well hard!

Re: England fans giving England fans a bad name
Twenty-five England supporters were arrested after clashing with police in Amsterdam before their friendly with Netherlands on Friday night.
Local police tweeted to say they made the arrests in the city centre. Police say the 25 were detained for committing a number of offences, including throwing beer bottles at police officers.
But one fan said the police had been "very heavy handed" and had attacked England fans "for no reason".

In short, Football fans are idiots. Or, to rephrase that sentence using less incendiary language: when it comes to football, intelligent people act stupid. And yes, that probably includes nearly everyone on here.

This will be the same lot that will be running like Linford Christie at the first sign of trouble later or stood behind hundreds of police with outstretched arms.

It'd be great if Russia kidnapped a few for political bargaining.
We could just laugh and tell them to keep them.

Probably because alot of those who got beat up or caught up were your average football fan. The hard or lunatic element of the England following are all on travel bans.UpTheBeehole wrote:They'll either get their heads kicked in when the Dutch ultras turn up, or they'll run away like they did in Marseille.
Don't condone it but those Russians would have had more of a fight on their hands if the bans weren't in place.
