I briefly saw something on twitter which I quickly swiped through, looked like dicks chucking beer onto those on boat below. Embarrassing.

You see it on the concourse at away games, a load of bouncing around then throw their £4.50 pint of carling in the air. Can't get my head round it personally.

I went to watch Israel vs England in Tel Aviv probably in about 1988.
The West Ham fans started off by booing and making monkey noises at John Barnes.
Then started attacking the police.
Then started attacking the other England fans.
All pretty pathetic really.

I don't understand the lads in the clip? They're not actually getting involved in any sort of confrontation with like minded people. They're just throwing beer at what looks like tourists on a boat trip.

Twenty-five England supporters were arrested after clashing with police in Amsterdam before their friendly with Netherlands on Friday night.

Local police tweeted to say they made the arrests in the city centre. Police say the 25 were detained for committing a number of offences, including throwing beer bottles at police officers.

But one fan said the police had been "very heavy handed" and had attacked England fans "for no reason".

Probably because alot of those who got beat up or caught up were your average football fan. The hard or lunatic element of the England following are all on travel bans.
