Yes I should wash my mouth out but I despise Mk and always want them to lose and hope they get relegated

Ha ha, this is brilliant. Saxo claimed not to be interested in Rovers. He was fed up. Frustrated with the owners. Couldn't see a way out.
Now they are fighting at the top of the 3rd division he's back and proud. Seriously, I do not need to be "caught" by this clown. It's just very amusing. Rovers are so far from us it's unreal. I think the fact I'm worried about Arsenal's results says it all.
Ooooooooo, we beat MK Dons. PMSL.

Evening Saxo,Saxoman wrote:We've lost once in 28 games. We have won our last 4 away games. Where are we gonna slip up?
Since the 12th April 2017, less than 12 months ago, your Owners, the Venkys have pumped £20,772,156 into the coffers of that festering t**d of a moribund Football Club that is Blackburn Rovers....
To help you out, this equates to about £400,000 a week in subsidy to support your trading position. I should be surprised if the turnover of your average opponents in Division 1 equates to even 60% of that amount. Frankly, to quote one of our previous managers, " a blind man on a galloping horse " ( or even Alan Pardew ! ) could have managed you to your present League position...

Re: Rovers 6 points over easter
Rovers fans pretending they’re boycotting, or have boycotters (I don’t mean 100 who have principles), to explain away the non-attendance. Rubbish! If there was truly a boycott going on they’d have 3,000 crowds by now, not the same or bigger crowds than when previously at that level.
They even have a thread on their message board where one fan claims 8,000 (I’ve seen 10,000 previously) will return if Venky’s leave. They’re hilarious not understanding how attendances, supply and demand works.
They are totally deluded, or think others are to believe it!

Fair play to them this season. They started slowly but they look head and shoulders above the rest now. I can't see them not winning the league to be honest. It's really about who will get second shot behind them now. Enjoy the championship next season Saxo, you've earned it.

Re: Rovers 6 points over easter
The biggest budget quite often gets you the most success, and Blackburn’s past is littered with seasons of success when someone has allowed them one of the biggest budgets.
It’s no surprise they’re up there when a club like Portsmouth, one of the biggest clubs in that division with 17,000 crowds, has a turnover of £7.5m and wages of £5.8m. Blackburn have a wage bill of around £20m!!!!

Wovers have the abilities to become a yo-yo club.
Yo-yoing between league one and the championship.

I'm wondering what the odds are on Venkys bottling it in the Play-Offs?! I fancy a fiver on them crashing and burning over two legs.

Re: Rovers 6 points over easter
There’s a good chance Blackburn will have an embargo next season with the recent posted losses. Especially when they turned down substantial offers for players in January. They’ve been let off once.
Rules state that only 60% of turnover is to be spent on wages, it’s nearly double that at Ewood.
Roll on the ban hammer and the relegation battle next season.

If they get promoted they get some breathing space.
If they stay in league one they're in trouble.
Either way those financial losses are amusing.

Doesn't affect the fans one iota. We just care what happens on the field. You don't win any awards for financial management.Sidney1st wrote:If they get promoted they get some breathing space.

In fact you get to keep the trophy.

Therein lies the problem.Saxoman wrote:Doesn't affect the fans one iota. We just care what happens on the field. You don't win any awards for financial management.
You've all been busy banging on laying all the blame at the door of the Venky's when this can be traced all the way back to Walker.
Re: Rovers 6 points over easter
I have a feeling you didn't hear me.. We care what happens on the field. Venkys have overseen our demise there. They are now fairly backing the first decent managerial choice they've made, therefore are afforded breathing space for now.Sidney1st wrote:Therein lies the problem.

No Venky's haven't overseen the demise there, they were sold a sinking ship and have tried to mend it.Saxoman wrote:I have a feeling you didn't hear me.. We care what happens on the field. That's the difference and clearly you don't understand that.

A sinking ship that finished 10th the season before, and that Sam left in a comfortable 14th place.. You go on rewriting history though.Sidney1st wrote:No Venky's haven't overseen the demise there, they were sold a sinking ship and have tried to mend it.

Re: Rovers 6 points over easter
I don't need to rewrite anything.
The financial accounts are there for everyone to see.
They were duped into booting Sam out, but the fans wanted that too when in reality he was your best chance of staying in the PL whilst the finances were sorted.
All your fans wanted were new owners to continue throwing money into the club to apparently return Rovers to their rightful place.
Issue was the rightful place wasn't top of the PL table.

Re: Rovers 6 points over easter
'All' our fans wanted Sam out. Your judging this on what? Brfcs? Has at most 100 posters, and not even all of them wanted him out. 100 out of approx 22,000 home regulars at the time. Is that really an accurate gauge?Sidney1st wrote:I don't need to rewrite anything.

Re: Rovers 6 points over easter
I don't really frequent BRFCS.
Ok 'All' is an exaggeration and I didn't say all in respect to Sam, but I've spoken to enough who did want him out to find it amusing.
Same with the comments on Lancs Telegraph etc where your fans assumed that the Venkys billions would return them to the top of the PL table
Plus let's not forget those golden moments of gloating from your lot aimed at Burnley fans.
That worked out splendidly well.
