Was the Diouf chance/miss that much of a whopper? Not for me - 63% chance of scoring from that according to Opta 360 plus (ssubscription fees apply).

Thought the match order was supposed to be based on matches involving teams with something to play for? How come we were on last?

4-1, 5-0 and you complain we are on last with our exhilarating 1-1 quagmire.

Why do we keep getting the absolutely useless female commentator? Before you say it, no I'm not sexist... there are other brilliant female commentaters/reporters out there, but she is just so wooden!! Just me?

The ‘Europa line’ on the MOTD league table still sitting just below sixth rather than seventh. Presumably that’s for the benefit of the person who has been avoiding the result of the cup semi all day but would have been eagle eyed enough to see the line below seventh and work out Soton had lost.

It`s horrible listening to her. She sounds like a 10-year old boy playing with a helium balloon.

They do tend to do it on goal numbers these days to be fair.

I suspect that some of these commentaries are post match highlights and not real time so sound scripted and wooden.

Joleon Lescott saying that not only should Joe Hart go to the World Cup, he should be first choice.

The oaf.

Apart from the other week when the Huddersfield borefest was ahead of our game.

Joe Hart should go to the World Cup as a goalkeeping COACH enabling Butland, Pickford and Pope to gain experience for this World Cup and the next few World Cups. Why waste taking Hart as an actual goalkeeper, being too afraid to play him because of his earlier mistakes and wasting a goalkeeping position available to a younger man?

Hey mate it's not a precise science predicting the running order on MOTD, apart from you can be fairly sure if Arsenal have played they'll be well up the order. Anyway now that Southampton are sufficiently despatched from the cup and given that Leicester need a near miracle that includes a good deal of help from us I'm more interested in next seasons running order on the Europa League highlights (or even a live game or two).

The Devil will abdicate when Gods work is done, and that is soon I tell thee, soon. All the signs are there; increased war, famine, new diseases and old ones that are becoming ever more difficult to cure, Burnley playing in Europe and Rovers getting promoted. All these things are what are but never should be and point the way to a glorious new heaven where the meek shall overcome and.....oh, my medication, yes. Now where did I put that Ketamine? I have a horse that needs stupefying.
